Okay
so my guy best friend just recently told me he has been in love
with me for the past 3 years. I dont think i like him but i might
because i get SUPER jealous when he was dared to kiss another
girl at this party. I get jealous when hes with another girl and
i cant stand it but im not even the jealous type. I love the way
he talks to me and hes soo sweet and i cant stand not talking to
him when were fighting.... I know he is always there for me. I
kind of want to date him.
BUT...
Me and this other
guy have been flirting he likes me he doesnt love me though. He
wants to kiss me this weekend i said he could because i want to
kiss him too. i think i might like him a little bit back. im
afraid if i kiss him he will think i have the same feelings for
him. he doesnt know i kind of want to date my friend. he flirts
with me alot. He hasnt asked me out, but if he does i kinda want
to date him too.
My bestfriend
knows i am planning to kiss this other guy but he wants to date
me and i dont want to loose either of them. Help
me

the same thing happened to me. well almost. me and my best guy friend were talking and he asked me out and i said yes. but we broke up..and it was really akward for alittle bit...then a few months later i asked him out because it was obvious we still liked eachother...all our friends told us. soo he said yes and on the 13 of september it will be our 6th month anniverseray <33 but my answer is because youve known your best friend for a while i would date him, because you know how he acts. hope this helped. soory for the long story

you can tell him nicely that you like him, but as more of a friend. or, if thats too cliche, you can just keep talking to him, but stop talking to him a little bit each day. or, you could tell him that you've known your bestfriend longer and you don't want to choose, but you feel like he's right for you. or you can say that you're not ready to kiss him, and just keep talking to him, and if he sees you're in a relationship, he might lay off a little...

you said you knew your best friend for a long time, when you said that he said that he's liked you for three years. it's your best friend, so you know him well, and he knows you well. this is how you know that you're best friend really, honestly likes you. This is potentially a good relationship in the making...BUT, if he threatened to kiss another girl, you need to tell him that if he really liked you, he wouldn't.
HOWEVER, if you do think that you should try to have a relationship with the other guy you've been flirting with, you have to make sure you REALLY like him back.
it all comes down to who you really like more, and who you think is better for you. make a list of the pros and cons of being with each guy.
and if your best friend really likes you, and you pick the guy you've been flirting with, he will wait for you.
