for all the people out there that say
cheerleading
isn't
a
sport
sure us cheering on the
sidelines may not be much
but go to a cheerleading
competition& watch
we make flipping in the
air look easy
& for my bases
catching& throwing a 100 or more pound girl look like shes
a feather
& for my flyers we
stand there stiff as a board, balancing& doing
something crazy half the
time
knowing we can be
dropped yet we still stand there with the biggest smile
on our face
& make it look
like nothing
every other sport has a
season to show how good they are, at
least an hour each time
we have 2min
30sec to show the judges, one wrong
move& you don't place
or you have a girl on your
team seriously
injured
so this is for all my
cheerleaders out there, we know
it's a
sport
& we have to
fight for that title
everyday

but i sprained my neck in cheerleading
wasn't supposed to even take gym for 2 weeks
i was back in the same stunt with the same people
the next day. don't tell me its not dangerous
& it doesn't take dedication

thanks everyone, people really start to me off when they have never even seen competition cheer let alone tried it& they say its not a sport
