I realized that it takes awhile for
things to sink in
I hear the news and I know its bad,
But nothing happens;
I don't cry, or mope, or get
mad,
I just take in the news and know it's bad
Then I start thinking about it more and more
That's when the tears come,
When my mind is full of thoughts that my heart can't handle
And I cry
I cry until there is nothing
left
It just
takes awhile
