All The King's Horses-Boochie Shepherd
All the king’s horses
Couldn’t change a thing
Cause there were no riders
To carry his name
And all of the peasants
Living in the town
Begged for his healing
But none could be found
There’s a sadness growin’ in the heart of every
man
That longs for the truth
But the sunset holds no heroes in its sinking time
Well all the king’s horses
Have run wild again
So who’ll save the kingdom
From all the king’s men?
The peasants had gathered
In the temple to pray
But the walls were soon crumbling
So they couldn’t stay
The nights were all drinking
On a red wine so sweet
They watch the peasants die starving
While they eat their meat
There’s a sadness growin’ in the heart of every
man
That longs for the truth
But the sunset holds no heroes in its sinking time
Well all the king’s horses
Have run wild again
So who’ll save the kingdom
From all the king’s men?
All the king’s horses
Have run wild again
So who’ll save the kingdom
From all the king’s men?
