I
miss you, more then you can imagine. You were a great teacher ; not
only of the sport i love, but of the kind of person that deserves
to play the sport. You brought us from nothing to first place, it
took three years, but i'd give anything to live within the time
frame of thoose three years for the rest of my life. The way you'd
look at me, like you knew exactly what i was thinking, you knew i
wanted to win, and you agreed, but you knew there was much more
then winning in mind. You had theese two things you'd always say,
and as you drilled us, and showed the entire team the way, we all
agreed that no matter how much you yelled , it was only to get the
point accross, not because you were angy, and no matter how hard
you'd drill us, we respected you every minute. You could always
tell how i was feeling and how ready i was to play, no matter what
, you always knew, but what you didnt see, what i'd always seen,
was that, one day, you would not be the coach of me anymore, but
would just be a memory, i can see you whenever i feel. i choose not
to though. i love to see you and the way you look right into my
eyes and want to say to me, 1st base buddy, but i know you cant
anymore, and if you did, i'd cry. Every time i think of you i
cry. I just want to play for you. Thats my only wish. To play
for the man who made me passionate about softball, and the only man
i've cried over, becaue technicaly this is a break up. & this
is the kind, that effects us both, but only one feels the true
pain. Steve, your amazing. I will give my life to play for you
again. </3
