Today,
I went to school. I wasn't
tackled by anyone, no one showed up in a
ridiculous costume, Waldo was still missing,
there were no notes left on my desk by random
strangers, I didn't make a new best friend, and
none of the quiet kids spoke more than they
usually did. I did, however, find a really shiny
penny on the ground during lunch.
