A little girl sit in the corner and listens to lies,
Her cheeks are wet with the tears she cries.
She sits alone,
All she wants is a proper home.
She wonders when daddy will come back from vacation,
She thought his death was just her imagination.
The little girl whispers to him at his grave,
I'm sorry daddy that I'm not brave.
She's older now and every day she's told she's strong,
All this time she thought it was wrong.
She heads to the bathroom and takes the razor from the shower,
Somehow now she feels she has power.
The blood trickles down her wrist,
Inside her mind and heart twists.
"What did you expect daddy?" She asked as she prays,
On her bed-dead is how she lays.
She was just a little girl with a hard life,
No one taught her how wrong it was to turn to the knife.
