sitting with all my girl and guy friends
at another lunch time at high school, where we are just kicking
back,
telling jokes, and not even thinking about the rest of the
day.
especially when i'm developing a crush on one of my guy
friends
and he says sweet words to me, even with everybody sitting
around.
guyfriend: do
you wear makeup?
me: just eyeliner and mascara
guyfriend: is that all?
me: yeah
guyfriend: your skin is so clear
crush: you look better without makeup,
anyway.
me? all i do is look up at him and smile,
and we kind of share a connection for a while.
i also live for the moments when we're mucking around,
and telling dumb jokes to each other.
me: hey, i'm suddenly italian.
(i'm really not, we were mucking around cause he is
italian)
him: you're a sexy
italian.
really, it just makes me feel so good..
young love, what can we say. i'm in tenth
grade and i still get cute crushes
like a little schoolgirl. :)
