Breathing in this smoke of death Thinking it relieves the stress
he pops another pill to block out the pain And downs another shot to
forget again A little dizzy, he trips and falls But no one hears his
pointless calls His heart is broken into a million pieces And his bitter
pain only increases. The taste of sweet death is at his tongue But how
can she die when he's so young he grabs the knife and stammers to
his feet and stops and think Because now his sorrow he can defeat.
