They Said...


they said my days were numbered,
one soon would be my last.
they said to live life in the moment 
and not to dwell on the past 

and they said to love 
like tomorrow ill never see
they said to know the ones i loved
would always love me

they said to tell my family
that i love them so
and tell the one that i love
to never let me go.

they said that i might die tomorrow
or today might be my last
so i might as well live out a dream
but do it rather fast.

they said i wont be forgotton
that i will always be loved
they said they would remember me
when i was looking down from above

they said they loved me too
that i was special in their heart
they said that it would kill them
that we would be torn apart.

and so they said their finally goodbyes
and let me on my way
and now im always wondering...
"will i die today?"
