Chapter 1
I grabbed my bikini and pulled it on. I slipped on an A&F sweatshirt over it, just so you could see the bottoms. I grabbed my favorite book 'Twenty boy Summer' and I walked out the door. I was halfway down our long driveway, when I heard my dad yelling my name.
"Ronnie! You forgot your phone!" He yelled
I walked back, and grabbed the phone out of his hand.
"Thanks dad, can't believe I forgot that." I thanked him.
In reality, I really could believe that I forgot it. See, we had moved here in the middle of summer, and my only friends were my brothers, tristian and Michael. Our mom left us when we were just babies. She told our dad to take care of us, and that she was just to young to be a mom. It was funny, the way she did things. Or at least I thought it was. I was sandwhiched between tristian and Michael. Michael was the oldest, then me, and then Tristian. We are all exactly nine months apart, our parents wanted to make it so we'd all be close in age. I was halfway to the beach by now, the only place I'd been going all summer. I didn't have any friends, and living in the biggest house in town wasn't helping. We moved so my dad could do his work here, but it made us the richest people. Most kids dream of that, but I hated it. All I wanted was a library card, and some friends. And when I got those things maybe I'd want more. I was finally reaching the hot sand, when I fell to the ground.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I heard a mans voice.
I pulled myself up and brushed off my legs.
"Hey, are you okay? I'm sorry my friend over here shoved me into you." He said, blushing.
"Why would he do that?" I said, not really paying attention.
"Well, you see, I thought you were beautiful, and I couldn't stop staring, so he told me to talk to you. When he pushed me, I stumbled and hit you. This is really embarassing, I'm sorry. I'll let you get back to your friends no-" He said, while I interupted.
"I don't have any friends. I moved here a little less than a month ago, and nobody's been around because of the summer." I explained.
"Oh, well, if I didn't already ruin my own image, would you like to hang out with us? We were just gonna chill for a little bit." he said, pointing towards his nerdy looking group of friends.
I smiled.
"I would love to hang out with you. And your image, just a little dented."

this is for a metaphor assignment that i'm doing in school. whatcha think? please leave me a comment, although i'd like more criticisms than compliments. there's always room for improvement! :)
the first one compares me to a book:

Chapter 2
I walked with the guys over towards the part of the beach that nobody goes.
"Never been over here before" I said, setting down my book.
"Not a lot of peple have, its my favorite part though." He said.
"Cade!" One of the guys yelled.
"What!" He yelled behind him.
"Who's the hot chick?" He yelled again.
This time he just waved them over.
All four of the guys walked over to where we were.
"Alright, so this one is Eric." He said, pointing to a nice looking kid with braces.
"This is Randy." He said, pointing to a kid with blonde hair and blue eyes. He had a really nice six pack, but he couldn't seem to get off his cell phone, which meant he had a girlfriend.
"Thats Aaron." He said, pointing to an average looking kid, with dark hair and perfectly straight teeth.
"Here is Jonah." Pointing towards a really hot, dark skinned guy with a six pack.
"And I, and Cade." He said smiling. He had blonde hair, and blue eyes. He also had a six pack, but he didn't seem social, he acted like he had a hard time talking to me.
"And you are..?" He asked
"Oh, I'm Ronnie." I said smiling.
"Ronnie? Thats really cute." Cade said smiling.
"Well, so isn't Cade." I said back, blushing now.
I pulled off my sweatshirt the water looked nice, and besides, I had people to swim with.
"You guys coming?" I asked, walking more towards the water.
"Of course we are" Cade yelled.
I was walking further, but they weren't following.
I looked behind me, but just as I did, Cade threw me over his shoulder and started running for the water. Then, I was thrown to Jonah, and then back to Cade.
He held me in his arms wedding style.
"Aha, did you like being a football?" He asked
"Not really" I said back, laughing.
"Well, its gonna happen a lot more if you keep hanging out with me." He said smiling
"I wouldn't mind that." I said back
"Good. Cause this is the second part."
And then he dropped me.
