One less lonely girl
Ryan trotted up to me with a smile on his face. It was the “Hey-bro-I-need-a-favor-i-just-met-this-chick…” smile.
“Dude, whatever it is no” I said. Unfortunately, he didn’t listen.
“So, I met this girl, Hanna: he said, showing me a picture of her on his iPhone, “and I like really need for you to make her the One Less Lonely Girl”
Hanna looked pretty, like really pretty, not those girls you see in Abercrombie ads, prettier, and to top that off, she wasn’t wearing make up.
As much as I wanted to say yes, I couldn’t. I shook my head “how do you know this girl isn’t using you?” I ask
“She freaking hates you” Ouch.
“Dude, please trust me.”
I want to shake my head once more, but looking into Hanna’s blue eyes (in the picture)I cant bring my self to. I nod.
“Yesssss!! Thanks bro!” Ryan yells, “you’re the best!” he yells as he runs down the hall. If only he knew I was crushing on the girl he saw first.
He likes her. He can’t like her. If he did, and Hanna ended up liking him too…well, who’d pick me when they could have Justin? I pretend he doesn’t and smile.
“Hanna!” I yell when I spot her in the crowd of Believers.
She smiles when she see’s me and walks over, but then remembers the One Less Lonely Girl thing.
“Awwwwwww,” she groans once I tell her the news, “You freaking serious?”
“Yep” I reply giddily.
She shakes her head and that’s when I know she likes me.
Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Was all I could think. I freaking fell for him. Head over heals. DAMN!!!!
The whole concert all I could think about was him, I didn’t think about Justin or his hair, I didn’t get up and dance and sing, I just sat there, looking at my worn Vans,, thinking about Ryan. About an hour was all I needed to fall. Damn…
A lady with a backstage pass looks up and down the rows and when she see’s me she smiles.
She walks over and asks if I would like to be the One Less Lonely girl. I say yes, only because that’s what Ryan would want me to do.
I walk up then behind the stage, and let me tell you this; it’s HUGE for a 17 year old kid. I mean, really? All the walls are plastered with JB photos, awards, etc.
“We’ll be on in 2 minutes, and when it’s time for you to go on the stage, we’ll signal you, just take a seat over there” she says, pointing at a stool in the middle of the stage.
