Accidentally In Love
Chapter Sixteen
It was just three hours till my date with Luke and i had still had a lot to do. I finished curling my hair in loose curls to a perfection and topped it off with a quick spray of hairspray to make sure they would stay. I went to my closet to find something to wear. I found a cute summer dress with a sweetheart neckline which was my favorite the pattern had a light red background with a cream and small little dots that looked like flowers made up of yellows blue and greens you could wear it with straps or without. For my personal choice i wore it with straps it just made the whole outfit better. I paired it with cute brown sandals. It tends to get cooler at night like usually so i picked out a really cute jean jacket just incase. I went back into my bathroom and braided my a small section of my hair to make it look like a headband. For make up i don't like to do much so i put on some light foundation, mascara, eyeliner, and blush. I put on my outfit sprayed myself with some perfume grapped my phone and some money and was ready to go and just in time to it was already 7:25. Luke would be here in 5min. I went down stairs to prepare my dad, he is not good with me going on dates he always seemed to scare the guys. Ding Dong....that was the doorbell. I went over to the the door and answered it. "Wow, you look amazing." Said Luke. He was wearing Khaki shorts with a button up shirt with his blonde hair perfectly in place. "Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself." I replied and brought him inside. "Hello there son." My dad said shaking Lukes hand. "Nice to meet you sir. I am Luke." He replied politely. So far so good i thought to my self now i just had to get us out of here as fast as possible. "What are your plans for my daughter this evening?" My dad asked. "Just some dinner and the board walk." replied Luke. "Alright that sounds good to me. Be home by ten. Have a good night Bria." replied my dad. "Good night sir" replied Luke while i was pushing him out the door. "Sorry, about my dad. He is just really protective." I said embarrassed. "Don't worry about. He just wants the best for you." replied Luke. "Yeah, I guess so. But you did probably the best out of any boy that i brought home so far." I said. "Good to know" He said Laughing. He took me to this Chinese restaurant for dinner, it was really nice and had amazing food. The conversation went well we talked about our past allot and about the future too. We had a lot in common. We finished our dinner and started our walk home, on the beach. I was walking barefoot while holding my sandals, you know that kind of thing that you only see in movies except this wasn't a movie. "I had a really great time tonight, thanks for dinner and everything." I said. "Me too, i really enjoy spending time with you Bria." He said looking me straight into the eyes, i looked to the ground smiling. We walked a little more then took a seat on the beach looking up at the stars,it was one of those perfect picture moments. "I should be getting you home, don't want to make the wrong impression on your father the first night." He said getting up. I shortly followed. We walked up to my house and were standing on the front porch, facing each other. "I was wondering if you would like to meet me at the beach tomorrow just to hang out?" asked Luke. "I would like that." I said smiling from ear to ear. "Me too." He said. Then he leaned and i leaned and well i guess you can tell what happened next but just in case you don't, well we kissed. I bite my lip then said goodbye and went inside finding my dad on the chair reading his paper waiting for me to get home.
