once upon a time . . .
there was a girl named jenna. she was known for her pail skin and blue eyes. she had nice friends, family, a good house, etc. everything was great until January 16th. the day. yes that day. that was the date when she was diagnosed with scoliosis. she had it bad. ex-rays every for months the a week or two after that there was a scoliosis checkup to see if she was alright. she had the top orthopedic doctor in the area, luckly. then june 1st 2009 she was told she had to wear a scoliosis brace around her back. she has to sleep in it, and only has a measly 4 hours of freedom without it. thats nothing. but she doesnt let that stop her. she did many thing in her brace that most people cant do without a brace.. skiing, tumbling on a trampoline, a softball game, etc. half the time it isnt even the brace that bothers her. she cant wear any clothes she likes without it showing. but she allways says, "im a work in progress" and thats true. shes getting better. people allways tell her shes the strongest person they know.if she wears her brace when she's supposed to, she wont have to get the surgery. hopfully the brace holds and she can forget about scoliosis for the rest of her life. you might be thinking "how do you know so much about her?" i do because me and her are really close. because..
