i want a guy...
who would move my hair
away from my eyes
and kiss me.
hold my hand in line
at the mall and make
all the girls jealous.
someone who would sing
to me at random moments.
who would let me
sleep on their chest.
a boy who would get mad at someone
if they called me ugly or was mean to me.
i want someone who would call me
three times a day if he
went away.

let me gossip to him
and he would just smile

he would throw stuffed animals

It’s just that day.
The day where you feel like curling up in a ball. Wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt. No make-up on, hair in a bun, and just think. Think about what’s happening. Why you’re losing your friends. Why you’re not doing your homework. Why you’re not paying attention in class. Why you’re going to feel like you’re going to cry every 5 seconds.
It’s just that day.

as she watched him flirt with the popular girls
her friends knew something was up
but she denied it
she went through the rest of the day
thinking she would never measure up

Apparently 1 in 5 people in the world are Chinese. And there are 5 people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my Mom or my Dad. Or my older brother Colin. Or my younger brother Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin.
