You are struggling with something right now, aren’t you?
You are dealing with something. It may be as small as a lot of homework, or as serious as self inflicting pain or an eating disorder.
Whatever it may be, hang in there. Because you are beautiful. You are irreplaceable. You are incredible. I know, sure as life itself, if you were not on this planet, I would not be the same. Hundreds of people would not be the same. I need you to take a deep breath. Listen to that song that just makes you smile and tap your foot. Send an email to an old friend. Talk to your best friend. Pray to God, he is always there. I promise. If you think you are ugly, remember. God is perfect. He is beautiful, and he only creates beautiful things. If he didn’t want you to look like you do, you wouldn’t. It’s as simple as that. God is like the person playing the computer, and you are the Sims; getting frustrated, but knowing things are for the better. That was a bad example, because I destroy my Sims. But you get the point. God is there. And he loves you. “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Who cares what anyone thinks of you. The only one that really matters is God. Please, don’t do anything rash.
Study for that test, but not too much. Every day has worries of its own.
Put down the knife; Grab a pencil and notebook, and write your feelings on paper, not skin.
Eat a bowl of cereal, swallow it, and keep it down.
Talk to your friends, they are here for a reason.
If they want to get you help, let them. It may frustrate you now, but in the long run, that phone call will make all the difference.
In the course of a lifetime, there are few things that really matter. Boys, appearance, problems, they are insignificant. What matters is the things that make you happy. What makes you burst out laughing when you want to cry. Those are the things that matter. Dismiss the 1234567 reasons to be sad, look for that 1 reason to be happy.
Everybody dies, but not everyone lives. Don’t waste your life away being sad, but get out there and have fun. Because hope, faith, love, and happiness are the only feelings you should allow to stay with you.
