My mum died a year today.
She always used to come on witty with me.
We used to spend hours; Laughing at the funny quotes,
Smiling at the Love quotes,
Crying at the inspirational quotes.
And then, one day, all that stopped.
It was a normal day, so I went to school.
I sat in class, and did my work.
I didn't understand why everyone was looking at me, but they were.
Then, just before dinner, the school secretary came and called for me.
She looked at me, and spoke softly in my ear.
"I hate to be the one to tell you this, Danielle.. But your mums dead."
I screamed, my mum was everything to me.
I didn't understand, this morning everything was fine.

I went to go visit her in hospital, even though she was already dead.
The nurse spoke softly to me, "It was a quick death."
I still didn't understand.
"She died in a car crash this morning, there was nothing we could do.
We found her dead, the person she crashed with was fine, it was an accident."
I cried, I didn't have any real friends at school, I didn't have a dad,
because he died in early years of my life.
I went to go see her, and she was laying there.
Despite the millions of cuts all over her body, she looked beautiful.
Her long reddish brown hair was spread over her pillow,
Her skin was soft and pale, despite the cuts.
And she was smiling.
"You look just like her.." The nurse said, and cried.
One. Single. Tear.
"Its time to say goodbye now Danielle. "
She said to me, and left the room so I could say goodbye to my mum, so I could talk to her
One final time.
"Goodbye mum, I love you with all my heart, I'll never forget you, remember this quote?
No matter where you are, on earth or in the sky, I'll never stop loving you."
So Mum, this is for you.
I love you so much. <3
