So me and him have been talking a lot lately, texting all the time which we never used to do. I thought things were finally going to change & after all these years we were finally going to be together. But then I read this:
"You're a very pretty girl and you're so so nice, but I'm just not into you like that and to be honest I don't have time for a girlfriend right now. Just because I think you're hot doesn't mean I'll go out with you, and if we were to go out, I'd want to really care about you, ya know?"
I didn't know a text could break my heart and make me feel so amazing at the same time...

I feel so alone. The only one I can talk to about this is caught up in his own problems, I can't talk to him about mine when he's the cause. And no one else gets it. Not a single person. This sucks.

People tend to admit the truth when they're emotional and angry. But all I want is for you to really feel that way. For good. But who am I kidding? That's not gonna happen. .

& today, I was bummin' about not having a Valentine, until he walked on the bus. He sat down next to me and we started talking, small talk - what are you doing for break, how's life...nothing exciting. That is until he asked me "So, who's your Valentine?" with this smirk on his face. I laughed and told him no one. He smiled and then stuck out his fist so we could "fist bump" and I did. He took his hand away and put his fingers into the shape of a heart and then touched my nose, but by now it was time for him to get off the bus. Now, I have NO idea what this means, and I'm not gonna go assuming things,
but all I know is that I love him.
I'm in love with my best friend. ♥

My feelings for my best guy friend have been back and forth between love and a brother/sister relationship for about 3 or 4 years now. He doesn't want a relationship, and I thought I was okay with that. I was for a while. I even fell in love, really hard, and was in love with someone else for 7 months, and I might still be in love with that other guy, I don't know. But something just hit me -- how bad I want for me and my best guy friend to be together. Yeah, it could screw things up if we don't work out. But he's the only guy I can completely be myself around. He makes me feel safe. I want nothing more than for there to be an us, but it's killing me knowing he doesn't want that. If anyone has advice for me, I would love them forever. I hate venting like this on witty, but I don't know what to do anymore :/ Thanks guys ♥
