I celebrate myself by being a typical teenage girl,
believing that all my dreams will come true.
I spend my mornings doing my hair and makeup
singing to myself because no one can hear me.
I am a user of small words
because I cannot “pronounce” big ones.
I go to Starbucks to get my usually coffee;
I know that itshould stunt my growth, as
I am as tall as a teenage bear on its hind legs.
I believe in laughter,
that it is the best medicine anyone can get.
I believe that everybody should simile, because
you never know who is falling in love with it.
I am a typical suburb girl,
who hates bugs and doing dirty work.
but, I love shopping and swimming with friends andfamily.
I spend my days at school
and nights playing the sport that I have played since Iwas five,
basketball.
I spend free time baking all sorts of sweet cookies andcakes
for my family and friends.
I come home to aloving father and mother,
who will do anything to help out their first born.
I am the crazy old sister of four psychotic youngersiblings,
but I love them so much and they are my best friends.
I am but a girl, who spent 15 years of her life in aMinnie Mouse bedroom,
But just recently let go of it.
I am but another basketball player,
who has worked so hard for one little thing,
a college scholarship.
I am just another crazy teenage fan
who is obsessed with a wonderful singers.
Just a different teenage girl,
who hopes she will grow up
to be a strong independent beautiful women.
I hope to be playing or coaching the sport I love.
While taking care of my patients and a family .
Just a bright teenage girl,
that hold hopes and dreams
with a strong future ahead of her.
But, if someone says that I can’t do it,
I will turn around and say,
watch me.
