I'm here to tell you that it's over.
The one you love? They're gone.
They've moved on. They're over you. I'm here to tell you that it's okay to cry, and mope, and wish, and hurt, and hope, and want, and need, and crave. It's okay to sit at home on a Friday night and eat your own weight in ice cream while watching sad love movie marathons. It's okay to ignore texts & calls. It's okay to scream into your pillow. It's normal. This is all normal. I want you to know that he's not thinking of you. He doesn't care anymore. No matter how many times you ask 'why?', 'how could you do this to me?' or 'what did I do to deserve this?' you'll get the same cheesy apologetic response. It's not fair to you. You're wasting time, and tears that you'll never be able to get back. You're allowed to be sad but at one point going to have to pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and go out. I want you to call a friend and go out. Go to the mall, go to the beach, go to a party. You need to know that one day someone will walk into your life and you'll know that everything in your past has led you to him. I know how badly you want that day to come, but for now live your life. You're young, you have so much ahead of you, get out there. Stop complaining, wipe away those tears from your beautiful face, lose control. You're okay. You need someone to reassure you that you're okay and that's what I'm doing. It's not the end of the world. It sure as hell might feel like it, but it's not. Get over him, he's not coming back. Stop waiting for that one text you know he's not gonna take the time to send. Stop hoping for some kind of second chance, because even if you got one, things wouldn't be the same. Don't waste your time on someone who won't treat you right, save your heart for someone who will. Prove to him that you don't need him half as much as he thinks you do. You're gorgeous, love. Now go off and show that beauty to the world. The world is your runway, you just need to take the first step.
