*BLAH* i heard my mom puke. What a great way to wake up & start my day. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I looked around my crappy little kiddish room. I was so sick of the life i lived. The only things keeping me strong were Calista & Beckham. Maybe if Beckham actually liked me, we could be together & maybe something in my life could go right. I walked across the hall to the bathroom,Threw on a ton of makeup to hide the bruises and scars, straightened my hair, & crept down the stairs. I was so close to sneaking out the door when my mom screamed my name. "ALLIIIIII!! Where do you think you're going little miss?" "school, where else?" "Don't give me that sass Ali, i should smack you for even thinking about talking to me like that." So she did, she smacked my right across the face. She left a huge pink handmark so i ran upstairs to clean up the blood gushing from where her nail poked my eye and to put more makeup over the now almost purple handprint. I ran downstairs and out the door to hurry and catch my bus. I couldn't stop my tears. The bus came to my stop so i wiped my last few tears, sniffled a little, and walked on the bus. I sat next to Leah. "Have you been crying Ali?" "a little, is it noticable?" "you're nose and eyes are a little red but why?" "my mom, she so mean." "God Ali, why don't you call child services?" "Because then i would be put into an orphanage or an adoption agency, I can't live without you, calista, and Audrey." She hugged me tight.I felt comfortable being hugged, so tightly squeezed. It was like nothing could make you feel better, it really made me feel loved. "It's time to get off Leah" "alright, i'll see you in 3rd period" "alright, bye" we walked off the bus, our seperate ways. I loved that i had true friends. People who were there when my family was ruining my life.
