You do know adoption costs money? You don't just adopt a child and bam, it gets delivered in the mail for free. Not every gay couple has the money to adopt. And anyway, I'm not passionate about my view, I honestly didn't think it out too much, I just exposed the possibility of that.. It's just a different outlook on the issue. I was just pointing out the fact that people are only arguing about the sentimental part.

Also, law does not work that way. There is a general law; for a man and a woman who are married, they get tax benefits for children. The amount of elderly/infertile/no children couples is much, much lower than the amount of couples who do have children. If in the government they began making laws for every single exception, society wouldn't work. Don't get so fixated on the details.

That's nice of you to defend your friend, but I still find her quote to be unnecessarily obnoxious. I really agree with that one proverb, "lower your voice and strengthen your argument".

if you pro-gay marriage liberals, and christian bigots, incapable of individual thought actually looked deeper into the issue rather than stopping at the sentimental side of it, maybe we would be able to have more legitimate arguments rather than "how does it affect you you're so stupid god is stupid lolol" or "god hates gays omfg". Why do gays want to get married? I don't think it's merely because of love. Sure they might be in love, but why is it of such important to hold the title of being married to another?
The reason gays might want to marry is because married couples get tax benefits. When people of the same get married and get the same tax benefits (remember that the government's money is taxpayers' money, aka your money.) as a normal couple who is legitimately able to have children, that's unfair to tax payers. Why? Because they're getting benefits for themselves for children they're technically not able to produce. When my money is being given away like that, to people who technically don't need it, that's not okay. And that's the only reason I'm somewhat against gay marriage. However, if they came up with some sort of system to change the tax benefits a married gay couple would get so they wouldn't be getting unneeded benefits, I would be okay with it.

Second of all, your quote, just like all the other liberal teenage girls who follow the crowd and continue to use the same argument over and over, is extremely hypocritical. It's always funny and somewhat refreshing to see all these people who are huge advocates of 'equality' and supportive of gays because we should all love each other, make these aggressive, close-minded, and poorly formulated arguments. You call Christians close-minded, but you're not much better. As soon as someone expresses an opinion that does not fit your likes, you believe it's okay to aggressively attack them.

Third, I don't know why you're putting Jesus in quotes because just so you know, the man existed. Whether you believe the whole "son of God" story or not does not change the fact that he was a real historical figure, just like Maria Theresa or Otto von Bismarck. Not that you would know who either of those is, since you seem to be so trapped in your own little bubble.

Although I agree with part of your argument, that some Christians do pick and choose what they like and not like from the Bible, I decided to express my opinion as well, so maybe people like you who repeat arguments heard time and time again will take a different view on the issue.

Your first argument is flawed.
If the only reason you're against gay marriage is because you don't want them getting money that would go to children they cannot physically create, you need to rethink your argument. Lesbian couples CAN have children multiple different ways, and then of course there is always adoption. Shouldn't you be anti-anyone-who-is-infertile-or-doesn't-want-children, not just two people of the same gender. Seems awful discriminatory to limit to JUST gay people if that's your reasoning.

Second, I've had many conversations with Chloe (Chlohoey) and she has actually got a quite well thought-out argument. Just because she didn't put it all into the quote doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's talking about.

i hate to be the one to break this to you, but just because someone decided to name it a "fact" it doesn't mean it's true.

if you put even the slightest amount of thought into this so-called fact, you would realize that it is in fact, false.

Okay first of all.
The fact that you're trying to make an educated argument with your half-illiterate grammar, is, plain and simple, a joke. I can't take you seriously.
Secondly: What other women do with their body is their decision, and theirs only. You lowly, illiterate, selfish pig have no say. No one is forcing you to get an abortion. Don't like it? Don't do it.

Of course there should be regulations on abortion, but to say that no one can do it because you don't like it, that's just stupid and you need to stop talking, thanks.

I would argue with you, but I know that even though youre opinion is uneducated, you have a reason to believe this correct. This is a life vs. choice debate and no one will take either side, so please take this down, witty is not a place for fighting over topics like this when it's the mothers decisions ultimately.

So what if a woman is the victim of ? A woman has the right to do what she wants with her body. Stop forcing your beliefs upon others. If you think abortion is wrong, don't do it, simple. No one is making you do it.

Plus would you prefer an aborted fetus whose brain and nervous system aren't fully developed, or would you rather have thousands of newborns thrown into crowded orphanages, or worse, killed by their mothers who can't take care of them? Would you rather worsen our overpopulation problem and have more unwanted children who will likely lead miserable lives? Of course not every potential abortion child is like that, but many are.

Don't shove your beliefs down people's throats.

I did, and I'm sure others are annoyed by your excessive swearing too. I swear too sometimes, but not nearly as much as you do. It gets annoying. And maybe he wouldn't, but right now google warned Steve that if swearing isn't toned down, they won't advertise witty. So, again, don't be surprised if people report your quotes when you swear. And again, if they're reporting them because they can't handle an opinion, then yes, that's a different story.
