I think that you should have just told your friend about it right then and there. If you guys aren't absolute best friends, I'd go to the party with your other friends. But if this girl means a lot to you, and is your best friend no matter what, you need to think about where your loyalty lies. Also, be careful if you start liking him. She seems really angry and upset about being tossed aside, so you're treading on thin water.

But its not on you. Yeah, you went over there and put yourself in a crappy position, but we're teenagers, and that's just what we do. Did you know that he was going to be doing those things? Because, while you were going over there, he knew fully well what was going to happen and what he'd do to you. You couldn't have possibly predicted how you would feel now. Oh my goodness. That's disgusting. When I was going into ninth grader, my boyfriend from then fingered me in public so that I couldn't say anything. And when we were alone he'd always try to do something and it was just gross. That in no way is comparable to what you went through, but I can garuntee you that so many have had experiences similar to this, therefore that's so good that you had the courage and strength to post this on here. Especially so that your friends can know. Hopefully, they'll be supportive and help you instead of ignoring it. I'm so sorry. Regarding the STD, honestly if you had one, you would definetly be able to tell by now. And let me tell you something about "". Just because you didn't try to stop it doesn't mean that you weren't . This emotional trauma you have is related to PTSD which is post traumatic stress disorder, so basically when things similar or relative to a traumatic event, you will freak out. Unfortunately, situations like this take years of therapy of self esteem, self assurance, and self reliability training to overcome. The best thing that you can do for yourself is the one thing you don't want to do- telling your parents or a trusted adult. He wont kill you. Those are threats to keep you quiet. And he can't kill you if he's in jail.

Coming from someone who has self harmed, attempted suicide, and dealt with depression most of her life- honestly, there's not much you can do. What helps is not laughing at it. Also, it helps to stop pretending like you understand what she's going through. Instead of trying to connect her problems to your problems or anyone elses problems, try to understand that what she's going through doesn't seem normal to her. The only thing you really can do is to listen to her when she needs to talk, and encourage her to talk, and tell her that you don't mind, and that it doesn't feel like she's complaining to you. Understand that you will never be able to relate to this. That's about it.
