The English songs in my iTunes library with the most plays:
Some Nights Intro - Fun.
Heartbeats - Broove (This is an instrumental. I realise you probably aren't into instrumentaks, but it's really pretty, I promise.)
Vertigo - U2
To Live and To Love - Silverstein
Black Cat - Mayday Parade
All of the artists above are basically perfect. Lorde and Nirvana are also really cool. So's Pink Floyd. And old, classic country. (Think Johnny Cash for that one.)
Idk, I listen to a strange combination of stuff. Most of the types of music I'm currently into are represented above. Hopefully you find something you like? reply

Check out Florence and the Machine. If you enjoy alternative music (Lana Del Rey-esque music), then you'd like Florence. Bon Iver is extremely good. His self-titled album has some really good music. "Calgary" is my favorite. As always, Coldplay's new album is amazing. Foster the People's new album, "Supermodel" has some really good music in it. "All of the People" by Panama Wedding is a contagious song, I swear. I also recommend "I Want to Get Better" by Bleachers, and if you like alternative music and bands like Paramore and Panic!, you should check out The Black Keys' new album, "Fever", and The Arctic Monkeys, if you don't already listen to them. I'm drawing a total blank on other ones, but I'll let you know if I think of more of my favorites. reply

Jejune Stars by Bright Eyes is perfection.
So is Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles.
I don't know if you care for P!atD or whatever, but there's never a bad time for I Write Sins Not Tragedies. (Or Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy. Which is still similar to what you listed above, so ignore this whole paragraph if you want.)
Fun. is great, especially Out On The Town and One Foot, etc.. I didn't like their song Stars though. So listen to it if you want but if you don't like it I warned you? idk
Philip Wesley has amazing piano solos, if you're into instrumental at all. I personally love Dark Night of the Soul.
And if you're into the instrumental stuff, Heartbeats by Broove is sooo beautiful.
Vertigo by U2 has been my jam since I was three or something. And Sunday Bloody Sunday. 10/10 would recommend. reply
