Frank Demartini. Pablo Ortiz.
Are not common household names. But when I think of hero's, they are the first people who come to my mind. On that fateful day, instead of shutting down and saving themselves, they kept everyone calm and saved the lives of 77 people. Frank and his friend Pablo started a chain reaction. I do not know if these men knew that their actions could effect everyone they met that day, but it did, and it was for the best. They knew that their duty was to go up and rescue others, not go down and save themselves. When these men saved people, the people they saved felt the need to help others. In total 6,000 people escaped the North Tower. Yes, Frank and Paul directly saved 77 people. But indirectly they could have saved many more. These brave, strong, hardworking men died that day when the towers collapsed.

So now I challenge you. What would you do in their situation? Start a chain reaction, set a good example, and people will surely follow.
