Summer Loving
Chapter 3
Liam's P.O.V.
I'm sitting behind a sand dune when all of the sudden someone comes rushing around the corner and colides heads with me. Who could possibly be running around on the beach at 7:30 at night? I knew it wasn't any of my friends. Everyone had partners when we played manhunt. Andie and Louis, Shannon and Harry, Hannah and Niall, and Anais and Zayn and Tyler. Even though Louis and Tyler were best friends Tyler didn't like to invade on Andie and Louis' time together. I know, you're probably thinking "why don't the two of you hide together?". Tyler is a great girl. She's beautiful, stunning, funny. We went out for a while last summer but we had a messy breakup and even though we're still friends it's pretty awkward. I snapped back to reality, realizing I'd just been sitting there zoned out, thinking of who it could be when I could just look up. It was Ally, the new girl. She was rubbing her head.
"I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed. "Are you alright Love?"
"Sorry! That was my fault! I'm fine, are you okay?"
"I'm good."
"That's good." After a moment we both become aware that she's sitting half on my lap. We look at eachother and she quickly moves away.
"So do you guys play manhunt alot?" She asks me.
"Every once in a while. We usually play truth or dare." Ally and I talk for what seems just like a few minutes, but in reality has been almost two hours. It had gotten cold so I let her wear my sweatshirt. We have so much in common. It crazy. We both a uncommon fears, me of spoons and her of butterflies. We both love vanilla soft-serve ice cream, pizza, etc. When we see how long it's been I call Louis. He says they found everyone else and gave up on us. The rest of the guys built a bonfire and are hanging out there.
Hannah's P.O.V.
"Liam's calling!" Louis screams. "Yeah we gave up on you guys! Couldn't find you anywhere!" He tells Liam.
Anais turns to me. "Wait didn't you find them?"
"Yeah Niall and I saw them in the sand dunes."
"We couldn't bear to tag them. They looked so cute." Niall added.
"Liam gave her his sweatshir-" I was cut off by Tyler.
"Hi guys! Where were you two?" We look around silently telling everyone to keep quiet about what we saw.
"We were in the sand dunes. I can't believe you didn't find us!" Liam says.
Anais giggles. "It's like you guys were invisible!"
Zayn's P.O.V.
HI catch Liam's eye and silently torture him about Ally. I know he likes her. I can see him blush in the light from the fire.
"I should really be heading home. I had a lot of fun tonight. Thanks for inviting me!" Ally says. As she turns to leave I get an idea.
"Wait! Don't leave yet!" I yell. She stops. "Liam can walk you home!"
"It's fine" She says. "He doesn't have to do that."
"No!" I reply. "It's your first day here. We don't want you to get lost! And who better than Daddy Direction to bring you in the right direction?" No one laughs at my hilarious joke. My friends can be so lame. It seems as though my persuading worked. I wink at Liam as they walk off.
Liam's P.O.V.
"You really didn't have to do this Mr. Soft-Serve." Ally says as we aproach her Grandma's house.
"It's no big deal Bean." I say.
"Thanks for letting me borrow your swearshirt!" She starts to take it off.
I stop her. "Keep it tonight. Give it back to me tomorrow night at 7 on the sand dunes."
She smiles. "Okay goodnight!"
"Night, babe"

Sorry I haven't written in a while. I really dont havea good excuse other than I'm lazy. I promise I'll get atleast 2 more chapters up this weekend.(Hopefully more!) I know this wasn't the most intresting chapter. I wasn't planning on writing tonight but I felt bad for not writing. I came up with this in like 20 minutes and I'm tired. I know it's not my best work. Okay. No more excuses. I promise more exciting things are coming up! Also, I apologize if I'm neglecting some of the characters. I'm trying to get them all in. In coming chapters there will be more P.O.V. changes and stuff.
By the way... Do you guys like the nicknames I made up for Liam and Ally? "Mr. Soft-Serve" and "Bean" as in soft-serve icecream and vanilla bean? Hahah I know I'm lame... Leave a comment and tell me if you like the whole cheesy nickname thing? And what you think about the story:)
