B) he was carrying a pack of skittles. oh god forbid teenagers carry a pack of skittles without people thinking it's drugs.
B) Zimmerman was told to stay in the car, but followed Trayvon. DISOBEYING ORDERS FROM THE ACTUAL POLICE.
C) it was such a fricking race thing don't you even dare try and sy it wasn;t.

Okay Okay.. imam use your style to state the REAL facts.
A) He was temporally staying there because he brought DRUGS to school and was kicked out.
B) He acted as if on drugs and was looking at the houses and acting suspicious.
C) ..... It was an "ORDER''... He was told that he didn't have to.. They did not say "Don't go out there, DON'T" They said it wasn't necessary.
D) If... It is such a "race" Thing.. Then why don't you mention that Zimmerman didn't even mention Trayvon's race until he was asked by the dispatcher. Proving that he wasn't focused on race.. But Trayvon mention Zimmerman's race right of the bat in his phone call.
E) YOU are the one who obviously didn't read the real reports OR watched the trial.. Like I did.
F).. You used B) twice

I'm pretty sure people didn't think the skittles were drugs...and Zimmerman was advised to stay in his car, not ordered. He was just trying to protect his community. And yes, it was a private neighborhood. He was staying there temporarily but he jumped the fence, which is tresspassing and it made him look even more suspicious. You should get your facts straight before being rude to people.

Hmmmm I do believe he was using Trayvon's race to fuel his suspicions, however, it was not done in the typical "" manner. By that I mean that Zimmerman did not hold hatred toward Trayvon or any other black man because of his race, and if he did, there was no proof of such hatred. There were, however, break-ins within the neighborhood prior to the incident, and those witnessed fleeing the crime scene were black males. When another black male was then spotted walking through the neighborhood and peering into windows of cars, it would appear to an onlooker that he is planning another break-in. Whether or not this suspicion is right, I cannot tell you. It certainly did not independently justify a shooting. From watching the trial, however, I was able to deduce, as was the jury, that suspicion was not the motive for the shooting, purely his reason for pursuing Trayvon, an act that was by no means wrong, though not entirely right either. Going near him was not necessary; discretely following should have done the trick. For example, my father followed a suspicious boy, who actually was a close neighbor of ours, though he appeared to be high. My father did so by walking the dog a considerable distance behind the boy. The kid was unaware of his presence and proceeded to make an attempt at stealing our neighbor's little gas grill. My father didn't think that made much sense, but waited until he was sure the boy intended to haul it off before calling the police. They arrested him and it was determined that he was indeed high and that he had also stolen money from his grandmother with whom he lived. So Zimmerman was likely right to be suspicious, as he had motive, but his handling of the situation until that point was not the best. I won't discuss the actual shooting piece, seeing as there are enough others who have posted with the same opinion. Please don't take this as a direct attack on you, or an attack at all for that matter, as I did not intend when I began for it to be so long. I meerly hoped to offer another perspective on the motive for pursuing the boy.
*disclaimer: this reply does not necessarily reflect my own feelings about the verdict, purely my analysis of the trial regarding Zimmerman's pursuit of Trayvon.

Yes. i know my facts. but Being advised doesn't mean he had to. He was trying to protect his community, his loved ones. He didn't have intentions to shoot trayvon. If trayvon wasn't doing anything wrong then he had no reason to get into an altercation with Zimmerman. I disagree with your statement about him profiling based on his race.

Because A) for all the people that actually want to serve their country they wouldn't be able to now because of all of those people
B) If we included women in that bunch and their were offenders than you could bet there would be a lot of r.ape which is not acceptable.
C) You think they would listen to directions? They wouldn't just go in and do things for the government; the government is the one that locked them up.

Did you read Petrichor's commented on the other quote in response to you? If not, have another look.
"Contrary to the so-called medical complications you listed, "Abortion is one of the safest surgical procedures for women in the United States. Fewer than 0.5% of women obtaining abortions experience a complication, and the risk of death associated with abortion is about one-tenth that associated with childbirth." "Abortion does not cause breast cancer. Safe, uncomplicated abortion does not cause problems for future pregnancies such as birth defects, premature birth or low birth weight babies, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, or infant death." So, if able to go to a reputable and safe clinic, abortion is a safe procedure and doesn't harm future pregnancies.
I'm not really sure what that "proper medical care" is, unless you mean Plan B or...abortion?
Forcing birth upon the mother/some trans*men punishes them and a future family to have a child who could grow up to be raised in a toxic home or pushed into poverty.
An abortion performed in the clinic actually costs around $300 to $950 (and that's during the first trimester, when most abortions are performed.) whereas the abortion pill costs are $300 to $800 and only taken up to 63 days. It would be much easier and much cheaper to use actual contraception than use abortion each time someone got pregnant.
You cannot argue how people can control their body, as it is /their body/ to control. Providing ways is only to keep /you/ in control of every woman's (with exceptions) body.
Contraception is not a guaranteed method -- granted if you use it the right way, it us up to 99% effective, however with the lack of proper education, many people may not know how to use contraception in right ways.
Actually, "Eighteen percent of U.S. women obtaining abortions are teenagers" while "Women in their 20s account for more than half of all abortions". If you admit to these people as being "minors" or "young women" who "don't have sufficient life experience", then how do you expect them to sit through 9 months of holding the fetus?
As with anything that takes a lot of consideration and could be very dramatic, there are different experiences. People regret it, while people feel relief. As with pregnancy, many people go through PPD -- which can also be a lifelong consequence and is intense psychological pain and stress.
While you, yourself, may never go through an abortion, trying to prevent other women from having total body autonomy is misogyny. It is the continuity of a society that doesn't allow women to strive for themselves, to prosper for themselves."
