Today when I got home, I just cried and cried and cried.
I don't know what the trigger was, but I cried.
It was the first time in ages that I cried like that; not from happiness or empathy, but from pain.
And to have all that bottled up pain be released should have been a relief.
    But it wasn't.
All it did was hurt me more.
    Why?
    Because I was alone.
Rather than having someone help me tip the bottle and support me whilst I gently poured out the contents, I, alone, let the bottle slip from my grasp and watched it shatter.
Then I had to pick up the shards of glass by myself, and rebuild the bottle.
And that process hurt more than the pain once contained inside that bottle.
    So what did I do?
I continued crying for hours and hours on end.
    And the scary thing?
    I couldn't stop.
See, this is why I'm afraid to cry.

Us girls always complain about how guys never notice when we're upset.
But have we ever considered why?
    I have.
It's because girls focus on what makes people upset, whilst guys focus on what makes people happy.
He makes an effort not to figure out what makes you upset, but rather to figure out what makes you happy.
While you're complaining about him not noticing your sadness, he's trying his best to recall what makes you smile.

How to sleep without getting caught in class?
Put eye stickers over your eyeglass.
How to insult someone without it being known?
    Use your most sarcastic tone.
How to convincingly feed a lie?
Tell the truth and laugh, after staring them in the eye.
How to end a conversation and say goodbye?
Give them one word answers, so they can't reply.
How to successfully steal a cookie from the cookie jar?
Hunt down all who know and run over them with your car.
How to get away with not doing your homework?
Claim your mind was being annoying and wouldn't let you work.
    How to gently reject someone?
Say 'sorry, my pet rock just died, gotta go run!'
How to get someone to do what you say?
Blackmail, of course, what other way?
How to pretend you're listening to your friend?
Awkwardly laugh, and nod your head.
How to murder in a legal way?
Gain their trust, then walk away.

I BELIEVE THAT BEAUTY DOESN'T EXIST.
    Beautiful isn't an adjective.
    Or a noun.
    Or a quality.
Beauty is not in the object, but in our minds.
To you, music may be a mere convenience. But to a musician, it is his life, something BEAUTIFUL.
To you, clothes may be a simple body protector. But to a fashion designer, fabric and every little piece of thread is BEAUTIFUL.
To you, bugs may be a nuisance. But to a biologist, every little life that lies on the face of this earth is BEAUTIFUL.
To you, the sounds surrounding you is something normal. But to a blind man, every fragment of sound is of value, is BEAUTIFUL.
To a realist, pain is beauty.
To a dreamer, happily ever after is beauty.
To a mother, her daughter is beauty.
To a daughter, her mother is beauty.
To a child, wisdom is beauty.
To an adult, youth is beauty.
To an optimist, living is beauty.
To a pessimist, death is beauty.
In this way, beauty is not definite, it is not fixed. It lies in our minds, our hearts, the way in which we see things.
This is why I say everything in this world is BEAUTIFUL.
But then people argue that 'beauty' would lose its meaning if that were true. But how can something lose its meaning if it never had one in the first place?
Everything is BEAUTIFUL, beauty is everywhere. It just takes right person to find it in certain things. It takes the right mind to identify it. But it is always there, regardless.
So when someone says you're BEAUTIFUL, don't deny it. Because beauty is not in the appearance, nor is it in the heart like it is commonly mistaken. It is in the mind and the eyes of the person who named you as BEAUTIFUL.
Scientists, philosophers and people in general have been pondering the definition of beauty for countless of years, and I finally have an answer:
Beauty cannot be defined, because it doesn't exist.

    It's a man's greatest desire,
    and is hunted down,
    but little does he know,
that it is not a noun.
    It holds the potential,
    the capability to fade,
    leaving the man,
    forever afraid.
    An angle's weapon,
    and the devil's toy.
    A deadly venom,
    that nurtures joy.
    If it's not secure,
it eats away at your health.
    The only cure,
    is the killer itself.
    Right or wrong,
    it doesn't care.
    Everything's fair,
    in this monster's lair.
Is it good, is it bad?
    Nobody knows.
    Hope and innocence,
    are it's only foes.
    With broken souls,
    washed up on it's shore,
    it remains a curse,
    forevermore.
    A twisted gift,
    from the heavens above,
    a tragic miracle,
    that we call love.

There are only two types of obsession in this world- Love and Hate.
They are both emotions that burn so passionately, so strongly that nothing can stop the wild fire that accumulates inside, charring the heart, mind and soul. There's absolutely no way you can stop it. Any effort is futile.
In the end, even the line between these two strong emotions blurs. Love is Hate, Hate is Love- the difference no longer exists.
Obsession changes and before you know it, that person completely occupies your mind. That person is no longer someone you simply care about, but the only one you care about. Your world revolves around them. You are no longer your own. You become theirs.
And nothing good, ever, can come out of that.

I believe that everything happens for a reason
People change, so you can learn to let go. Things go wrong, so that you appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies, so eventually you learn to trust no one but yourself. And sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Can people look at things from a different perspective for once?
We hate on how hateful the world is. We tell others that they're beautiful and insult ourselves. We bully the bullies. We tell others to be theirselves and we put on a mask.
But that's kind of hypocritical, is it not?
Maybe the world would be a better place if we just learned to accept that there are flaws in everything; the world, in other people, in ourselves. If we learned to love and embrace both the good and the bad.
Maybe that will trigger a chain reaction and everything will change for the better.
Can people just stop for a minute and think about that?

It pains me so much whenever I talk to you online.
It's not that you're mean or anything, and I know that you talk to everyone that way.
    But that's the thing.
You're not overly cold or distant, but it feels that way to me because everything used to be different.
I can't help but remember those times when you talked to me differently.
    It's just so... painful...

'mhm' 'haha' 'lol' 'yeah' or 'k',
and you remember that he doesn't want to talk to you as much a you want to talk to him...
and it just hurts so damn much.
