    I don't want my child to look at me and ask,

    Today, I told my boyfriend that I'm six weeks pregnant.
    he freaked out.
    and then he was so happy
    and then he freaked out again
    I would never get an abortion, but we are talking about
    putting our baby up for adoption.
    But...I don't want to.
    If he doesn't want the baby, I'll keep him/her.

    Untitled- Chapter two
    "Here we have stuffed mushrooms, and wrapped scallops, would you like any sir?" I asked for the hundredth time that night.
    "No thank you," he waved me away without even looking. I sighed and moved on. There was a man that appeared to be standing my himself, and I approached him. "Excuse me sir? Would you like something to eat?"
    He turned around to face me. "Oh, Scarlett! I didn't know you would be here tonight! Small world, huh?"
    I was shocked, it was Ben! I had completely forgot he told me he worked for a bank, we were catering for their event! "Unbelievably small!" I said, awkwardly laughing. "Err, stuffed mushroom?" I said, holding out the tray. I didn't know if I should offer him food, if it would make it more awkward, but he took one and popped the whole thing in his mouth.
    "Mmm, that was really good! Did you make them?"
    I thought for a moment, I wasn't supposed to tell people that I had cooked a considerable amount of food, so I decided to go a different route. "I didn't make these, but when dessert comes out, try those. They're a secret family recipe," I winked. Just enough sass without being too revealing.
    He laughed, "okay, I'll let you know what I think."
    "I better go, I'm not supposed to be talking to the guests," I said, looking around for my boss.
    "Don't worry, I'll keep your cover," he said, with a big smile.
    "Thanks! I'll see you later," I whispered, spotting my boss at the door by the kitchen. She was surveying the floor to see where we were...she was probably wondering why I hadn't come in for a new tray yet, the food would be cold by now.
    "I look forward to it!" He whispered back, then walking away. I walked quickly towards the kitchen for a new tray, hoping Katie wouldn't see me.
    "Scarlett! You should've been back here five minutes ago! What are you doing?!"
    "I'm sorry Katie, a guest asked me how the food was prepared, he had a peanut allergy." I fibbed, not knowing if Ben really did have a peanut allergy.
    "They already made us aware that some guests had a peanut allergy Scarlett, you should've told him that."
    "I'm sorry, I will make sure it doesn't happen again."
    "I would appreciate you being on your best game, these are really important clients for us. I would also like to talk to you about your future here at Wishbone Scarlett, there could be good things in your future if your performance is up to notch."
    "Yes, ma'am."
    "I ducked into the kitchen to get ready for the main course, we were serving some fancy stuffed chicken. My specialty was desserts, and I couldn't wait for that course.
    I spotted Ben right away, he was chatting with colleagues, and smiled at me when he caught be looking at him. I blushed and looked back down, trying to focus on serving dinner to the woman in front of me. I heard him laughing and looked up at him again, oh my god I loved his laugh. He was still looking directly at me, and I giggled. I was totally caught up in his face, that my worst fear happened.
    I completely dumped a plate on the woman, she stood up and started brushing it off her legs, and squealing, I'm sure it was warmer than usual. "Oh my goodness! I am so sorry!" I said, trying to help her.
    Katie came running over, and I managed to spill three more plates trying to help the screaming woman.
    "Oh, dear I am so sorry. Clumsy girl isn't she? Follow me I'm sure I can help you with that," she said, leading the woman away. "Clean this up," she hissed, looking at me. "And you can forget your future." She shot me a dirty look and ran off with the woman. I tried to clean everything up as fast as I could, so I could leave with some dignity. I didn't look at Ben after I was done cleaning, all I felt was ashamed.
    Now I had to deal with the wrath of Katie after I had to deal with everyone staring at me as I cleaned up the mess. "Miss, I am so sorry. I'll pay for your laundry bill if you want." I seemed to be apologizing a lot today for spilling things on people.
    "Don't worry about it dear, sometimes it happens." She was an older woman, so I was hoping she would understand. Under her breath, she said, "my granddaughter was a waitress, and she spilled food all over people all the time. I understand, it was a mistake." She patted me on the shoulder, and walked out the door. I turned and faced Katie.
    "You dumped a plate on a guest?! Are you insane?! Do you ever want a career in this buisness Scarlett? I am this close to firing you right now! You can't waitress anymore tonight, you will clean dishes. Not get out of my face, you have given me a migraine." She put her hand to her forehead and walked away.
    I guess it was better that I was put on clean up duty, I wouldn't have to face Ben after I dumped a plate getting distracted by him. This was becoming too much, and I only met the guy this morning!
    Anyone have a title suggesetion? Let me know!

    I was rushing down the side walk, trying to catch the tube in time for work. I had forgotten to set my alarm again, and woke up 10 minutes before the tube would arrive to take me to London. I worked at a catering job that I hoped to own one day. My boss would definitely not like it if I was late for the third time this week.
    "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!" I said, running into a person getting on. Woo! I made it!
    "Oh, don't worry about it." He said, catching my arm helping me catch my footing, I had stumbled in my not so sensible heels bumping into this man.
    "Oh but look, your coat! I am so sorry, I'll pay for the dry cleaning if you want." I said, noticing I had spilt coffee all over his jacket.
    "Seriously, don't worry about it. I have like, 20 more at home. Even though this was my favorite," he frowned looking at the stain.
    "Wait, hold on," I said, reaching into my purse. All my friends call it "the mom purse" because I had everything you could possibly need in there, including baby wipes. "Can I see your jacket?"
    He took it off and handed it to me, so I noticed the label was a top designer in England. So he obviously had good money. I started to dab at the stain with the baby wipe, and after about 5 minutes you could barely see it. I handed it back to him, "There, that will get you through the day. You just have to wash it as soon as you get home.
    He looked at the jacket closely, "Wow, I'm impressed! You can't even see it! How did you even know that?"
    I shrugged, "Just something that I have picked up over the years. I carry a few around for things like this. The wipes are also a great make-up remover, if you were wondering." He laughed and smiled at me.
    "I'll remember that if I'm ever wearing make-up." He laughed again, then held his hand out. "I'm Ben, it's nice to meet you."
    "I'm Scarlett, it's nice to meet you too."
    "So what brings you to the tube on this lovely friday morning?"
    "I work in London, and I was actually running late this morning, that's why I ran into you."
    "Oh, well I'm glad you were late this morning," he laughed.
    "So am I! What are you doing on this lovely day?" I said, half mocking him.
    He caught on quickly and smirked at me, "I work at the bank in London square. I was actually a bit early this morning, I'm glad I decided not to stop for coffee until I got to London." He smiled at me again, oh my gosh I got shivers. His teeth were straight, but in the natural way, there was a slight crook to some of the side ones. I loved how his smile reached his eyes, and he look honestly happy. Wait! What am I thinking? I just met this guy! The announcer came on and said we were approaching the next stop, and he stood up to go.
    "It was nice meeting you," he said, smiling, "This is my stop."
    "It was nice to meet you too Ben, hopefully we will see each other again. Sorry again about your jacket."
    "Like I said, I have twenty more, so don't worry about it. Hopefully we will meet again." Just as the doors opened, he leaned down and kissed my cheek, then walked out.
    I stood there, gaping at him, watching him walk away. He looked back once, and gave me a cheeky smile before disappearing around the corner.
    Hello all! I'm trying a new story...let me know what you think! It's a little short, but I'm just starting it.

    My Not So Perfect Life- Chapter 43 (part two)
    ~Six Weeks Later~
    "Are you excited for your baby sister to finally come home?" I asked Avery as we got into the car, going to pick up the baby from the hospital.
    "I'm so excited she's coming home!" She said excitedly, squirming in her car seat.
    "Well then let's go!" Alex said from the driver's seat.
    "And off we go!" Alex said, pulling out of the driveway as Elena pulled in. We gave her the house to set the party up in, because she had planned a "welcome home party" for the baby. Everyone was invited, my parents, Alex's parents, and all the cousins and aunts and uncles. It was going to be a lot of us, and it had been a long time since we had all been together like that.
    "Hi, I'm Mia Walsh, I'm here to discharge my daughter? I talked to the doctor this morning." I said, 25 minutes later when we arrived at the hospital.
    "Oh yes, Mrs. Walsh, right this way. Your daughter has been in the nursery with all the other babies this morning." The four of us followed the nurse down several hallways, until we reached the nursery.
    "Would it be alright if the children stay in the hallway? Young children aren't allowed in the nursery for safety reasons. They tend to spread germs faster than anyone else."
    "Do you want to go in?" I asked Alex, "I'll stay out here with these two."
    "No, no. You go in, I will stay out with them."
    "Here she is!" The nurse said, leading me to a crib in the corner.
    "Oh, hi sweetie!" I said, picking her up carefully. She was still so tiny! I walked out of the nursery and faced Avery and Logan. "Do you want to meet your new sister?" I asked, a big grin on my face. They hadn't been able to see her in person, since she was so sick and young children spread germs faster than everyone else.
    "She's so little!" Avery whispered, coming closer. I kneeled down to her height. "And she's so cute!" She leaned down and kissed her forehead, it brought tears to my eyes. To think Avery hasn't known her 2 minutes and already loved her as much as I did.
    "Logan, do you want to see her?" I asked, noticing he had hung behind.
    He cautiously walked up towards me and looked at her very quickly. Before retreating again. "Do you want to see her later?" I asked, trying not to pressure him into anything. He nodded and then walked towards the window into the nursery. Logan acted the same way with Avery when she was born, but I never really knew why.
    "Ready to go home?" I asked, and they all nodded. The kids ran ahead, knowing the way through the hospital, and Alex walked next to me with his arm on my back.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "Welcome home Scarlett Marie!" Everyone yelled, when we walked into the door.
    "Hi everyone!" I said, and surveyed the crowd. "Bella!" I said surprised, she had moved to Boston a few weeks after Avery was born, and I haven't seen her since. "It's great to see you!" She walked up to me and we hugged. "How are you doing?"
    "I'm doing great! Jeremy and I settled down in the city, but when Elena sent me an invite I couldn't resist seeing your new addition! What's her name again?"
    "Scarlett Marie Walsh." I replied, "It's so good to see you! How many kids do you have now?"
    "I have three, just like you. Olivia, Lydia, and Kayden. They're all around her somewhere!" She waved a hand around, there were so many people it would be difficult to find anyone.
    "That's great! I will have to meet them later, but if you will excuse me..." I said, turning to see my mother. "Mom! How are you?"
    "I'm good, you would know if you bothered to call." She sniffed and took a drink from the glass she had in her hand.
    "You don't call me either Mother, and I'm the one with the three kids. But this isn't about us, it's about Scarlett, have you met your new granddaughter?" I asked, last time I saw her Elena was taking her out of the carrier.
    "Yes, I did. She's adorable! I will have to come over next week and see her without all the hustle and bustle."
    "I look forward to that," I said. Seeing Emily, I excused my self from my mother and walked towards her.
    "Emily! It's so nice to see you!" I said, reaching in for a hug. Even though Emily Walsh tried to tear Alex and I apart in the beginning, we were on good terms now.
    "Mia! I just saw Scarlett, she is simply breath taking! And her name, so timeless! I love it!" She said, beaming at me.
    "Oh, thank you! Alex and I took great care choosing her name. We only recently found it the other day, just in time to take her home."
    "Oh, Mother! Have you seen Scarlett? She is simply adorable!" Elena came over, gushing about the baby.
    "Yes, I just met her, she is amazing!"
    "Oh, Mia I feel kinda bad for you! You finally got the two of them in school so you had some free time, and then you have another baby!" Elena said, turning towards me.
    "Oh, I don't mind. It's actually nice that I get some time with the baby by myself. Especially in the morning, she can nap without the kids running around to wake her up."
    "They're going to have to learn to be much quieter!" Emily laughed, before spotting the baby in Nicole's arms and walking towards her. Elena followed, and Alex replaced her.
    "This, is amazing." He said, wrapping me in his arms.
    "Oh, I know. Elena did such a good job planning."
    "I think you're pretty amazing too, Mia." Alex whispered in my ear. "I don't think any other mother could handle the three of them. I love you so much." He said, before he kissed me.
    "I love you too, Alex." I said, and stood there in my true love's arms, watching my kids run around the backyard and my new baby being adored by everyone she came in contact with. I was amazed to think how far I've come, how far Alex and I have come, together. I looked up at him and whispered, "I couldn't have done it without you."
    The End
    Hello Readers! I would like to thank all of you so much for sticking with me through this story! Today I realized the story was getting kind of stale, and I decided to finish it off. I may or may not start a new story, I have a few ideas, but if I do start a new story I hope you all stick with me! Thank you lovlies, I love you all!
    My Not So Perfect Life- Chapter 42 (part two)
    "Hi baby girl! How was school?" I asked Avery a few days later. She dropped her back pack at my feet, and stomped towards the car.
    "Someone's in a bad mood," Lisa Flynn said. She was the mother of Colleen, Avery's best friend.
    "She just needs a nap, she didn't sleep well last night." I said, looking towards the car. Avery had gotten in and slammed the door, I sighed.
    "Have fun with that," she laughed. "Colleen does that sometimes, she drives me crazy." We exchanged our goodbyes and I walked towards the car.
    "What's the matter baby?" I asked her, looking in the rearview mirror."
    "Matthew wouldn't play with me at the playground today," she said, crossing her arms and pouting.
    I tried not to laugh at her reply, "Why didn't he play with you?"
    "Because he said I have cooties. But I got my shots the other day! I have the band-aids to prove it!" She said, pointing at her arm.
    I couldn't help laughing this time. "Sweetie, cooties aren't real. Little boys says that because they think girls are yucky."
    "That's so stupid!" She said, going on a rant. "Now every time one of the girls walk by the boys, they all scream cooties! And run away, all I want to do is play with Matthew." She started pouting again.
    "Why don't you play with Colleen?"
    "Well...I guess I could..." She said, thinking about it. "But I want to marry Matthew one day, so I want to play with him too."
    "Okay, you can marry Matthew one day, but you have to promise not to kiss him until you are in high school, okay?"
    "EW! Mama! Kissing is gross! I just want to marry Matthew, not kiss him!" She started laughing, like I was the unexperienced one.
    "Okay Avery," I laughed, "let's go home and get lunch okay? What do you want for lunch?"
    "Hmmm... I want a churkey sandwhich on the fishy bread. And grapes, with apple juice." She said in her cute baby voice.
    "Okay, sounds good." I said, pulling into the driveway.
    "Why is Daddy home?" She asked, seeing his car.
    "He has the day off, maybe you can ask him to play in the backyard until lunch is ready. I think he's back there now, just go around the house."
    "Okay!" She said, running off. "Daddy!" She screeched, running into his arms.
    "Princess! How was school?" Alex asked her, picking Avery up in his arms and walking towards the swingset.
    "It was okay...but..." I heard her voice trail off. I went into the kitchen and made Avery a "churkey" sandwhich, and Alex and I lunch as well. We sat down at the patio set and ate our lunch happily, laughing and talking until it was time for Logan to get off of the bus.
    This was just a cute thing I though of, when my sister told me the conversation between her and my niece. Hopefully I will start posting more? Depending on how my computer works!
    My Not So Perfect Life- Chapter 41 (part two)
    "What about Meghan?"
    "Eh, what about Emily?"
    "Not after my mother, what about Leah?"
    "Too close to my name. This is impossible!" I threw the baby name book to the side. Alex sighed and stood up.
    "We will find her a name, chill out. She won't be out of the hospital for another two weeks anyway, it will be okay." He kissed my forehead and walked into the kitchen. I followed for a new cup of coffee.
    "Knock knock!" We heard a voice from the front of the house. "Hello lovlies! You are looking fabulous!" Elena said, kissing my cheek.
    "Hello Elena, you look fabulous too, as always." I said, smiling. "What brings you down here?"
    "What, I can't come see my favorite people without a reason?" She asked, faking shock.
    "You can, but it's very unlike you living 45 minutes away," Alex said, laughing. "Really Elena, we love having you here, but what's the occasion?"
    "Oh you know, I had to go see mom." She shuddered, and I laughed. "She wants to create a line with me, she said the clothes that I design, and I quote 'are for hoochie mamas. I have no idea who buys the clothes you put out there!'"
    "But I love you clothes!" I protested, Elena was a impressive designer. She was one of the best in the buisness.
    "As does most of New York Love, don't worry about it. She's my mother, I'm used to it." Elena shrugged. "But the clothes she wants to design are turtle necks and skirts down to your ankles." We all laughed, Emily was a stylish woman, but Elena wasn't making this up, she was very conservative. When Alex and I got married, I heard about Emily saying to some of my relatives that in her day if you wore sleevless dresses into a church people fainted on the spot. She better be grateful she never said anything to me. "So how are your little angels?"
    "Avery and Logan are so excited about their new little sister. They just don't quite understand why she has to stay in the hospital though. We explained to them since she had to come out of my belly early, she had to stay in the hospital longer than usual. As for our other little angel- she doesn't have a name yet."
    "You should name her after me!" Elena said, laughing. "How is her health?"
    "Oh much better. Her heartbeat is still irregular, but her tempature, and breathing is under control so that's terrific. She needs to gain some weight before she is able to come home, so the doctor says another two weeks, tops."
    "That's fantastic!" Elena said, standing up to hug Alex and I. "We should all get together when she's home and celebrate! Plus the kids haven't seen each other in ages, so it will be a good time for everyone to play together."
    "That sounds great Elena, but that's a lot with a new baby-"
    "Nope, we are going to do this and you don't have to do anything. Just have the party here, and I will take care of everyone else, I promise." Her phone beeped, and she glanced at it. "But I have to go, I will call you late okay? Love you!" She said, walking out the door.
    "She always leaves in a rush," I said laughing.
