I sit in her room listening
to his swears. I hear the pain
pain with every blow.
I was a listener.
I feel so lost an broken for
her heart is torn by the
brusies she wears.
I was a listener.
I imagine if I were her, I would
make him feel, the pain I see.
I tend to fantastize that she will
change or understand.
I was a listener.
Now here I stand surrounded
at her grave, for she is lost in
his wits. He took ger to the end,
and she was afraid to call it quits.
I still wonder why I was a listener.

Exposure
Im here to expose the truth,
to let you know the way I see.
You left me hoping I would remember
the good and not the bad.
But when you left me you took a part

The less I try to think of you

I hope in time he realizes how much I cared.
That my love my never go sour.
I hope that time heals all my wounds and changes his mind.

for him leaving.
He took my pain and ran
It was to good be true.
Everyone understood
we were meant to be.

I told her to tell him.
She refused.
