I looked at her.
She looked away, like she was ashamed of something.
'HEY, SABRINA!' A dude called out.
'Duckie, hi.' She said.
Duckie was a Senoir. We are Freshman.
'Where is Sarah, I had so much fun with you and her last night. Bow chicka wow wow. If ya' know what I mean?' Duckie said.
I rasied my eyebrows, but just looked away.
'Sabrina, is this your friend? I didn't see her last night.' Duckie said looking at me.
'That's because she wasn't there.' Sabrina snapped.
'Well, she should've been.' Duckie said sitting where Sarah was sitting.
I looked at Duckie.
'Leave me alone, dude.' I sighed.
I got up and walked away. I seen Darren walking along the beach talking to someone on the phone.
I walked over to him. And overheard his conversation.
'Mom, remember dad left.' He said.
'To work, mom.' He said frustrated.
He seen me, he smiled.
'Okay, mom i gotta go. Yes, i love you too. Alright bye.' He said. He hung up and looked at me.
'Family issuses?' I asked smiling.
'You can call it that.' He said.
'Come on, lets go for a walk.' He grabbed my arm and took me to the ocean.
'Come on. I wanna show you something.' He said. We just went right in the water.
We swam a good ways out into the ocean. He took me to this cave, thing. We climbed onto the rocks.
The water splashed agaisnt it.
'Come on. Lets go inside.' He grabbed my hand and led me into this 'cave' more.
He sat down and it was pretty. The sound of the waves hitting the rocks.
I smelt salt from the water.
'How did you find this?' I asked. We sat down.
'My dad showed it to me.' He smiled.
We talked a little while more.
Making jokes, and all that. I actually had a great time.
'I wanna show you one more thing, before this day is over.' Darren said.
I went to get up but he told me to sit back down.
He put his hand on my cheek, and I held my breath.
'Ready?' He asked, we were inches away from each others lips.
I nodded, because right now words failed me.
He leaned in, as I leaned in.
'I knew I'd find you here.' A girlie voice said.
We both looked startled and turned around to see,
My brother, Sarah, Sabrina, and Duckie.
