So, I have an iPhone and it has one of those lifeproof cases, right? Well sometimes I take it into the shower so I can text
people (Don't judge). So, my homescreen is of my boyfriend and I, and every time I have to unlock my phone to text, I legit
have to like, keep my phone out of the shower, and cover myself with the curtain, cause I always think pictures can actually see
me.... And I was in the shower.... So yeah. That's all...

You probably think this is going to be an essay of a quote telling you why you shouldn't self harm (cutting).
Nope...
Yes, I don't believe that it's something you should do to 'get rid of pain' although there are other ways and ways to help you to stop.
Okay, whenever you feel like cutting, don't go and get your blade.
Go and get a pen.
Whenever you feel like hurting yourself at all, just get a pen.
Even if you've never done it but you're thinking about cutting, just try this.
Forget the whole...
"Draw a butterfly/animal and when you cut you've killed that animal."
Nah, this is straight to the point.

Here's what you've gotta do:
Draw a line with that pen wherever you would cut,
Everytime you feel like you want to make another cut,
draw another line and so on.
That's it.......It doesn't matter what it looks like.......Just a line.
Keep doing it, even if your covered in pen marks.
Then....If you can, count how many pen marks you drew
That's how many time you didn't harm yourself.
If you can make it through one day, do it again and again.
If you don't think you can....
Just take away one of the cuts you'd of made and draw a line.
One by one.
Just try it once.
You can do this, I believe in you.

I was at the drugstore picking up some makeup.
a few guys were looking at some candy across the
aisle. one of them kept looking over at me, then came
up, and said "you should put that back, you really don't
need it. I don't even know why girls wear makeup in the
first place." guys like this give me so much hope.
