The White Notes
Chapter 2
I went to a park down the street.
I sat on the swing, protected from the rain by the tree behind me. Sure I kept bawling, but to be honest I felt a lot better.
This park brought me down memory lane. That was when life was good.
That was when my parents didn't fight.
That was when I believed in Santa, the tooth fairy, the Easter bunny.
That was when I wasn't depressed.
That was when Autumn was still alive.
My childhood was amazing, but did it have to go away?
Suddenly, I heard a voice: "are you okay?"
I turned my head around and saw the boy who I had bumped into before.
"I'm sorry I bumped into you before," He paused. "My name's Noah."
"It's okay and my name's Paris," I said while wiping the tears away.
"Were you related to Autumn?" He asked me.
Noah's POV
"Um no I was her best friend," She answered. "Were you related to her?"
"Uh," I completely froze.
What was I supposed to say to her?
"Noah! Come on we have to be there!" My brother yelled.
Thank God! Now I don't need to answer her question.
Paris' POV
After Noah left, I decided to walk home.
I put my hands in my pocket and felt paper in my right one.
"What's this?" I asked myself.
So that b*tch finally died huh? Good. She deserved it. You'll be getting a lot more of these white notes.
Always do what I say, or else.
And then I saw blood on the paper. Who send this note to me? Is this some kind of sick joke?
