aww omg im so sorry! and yeah, group homes are normal looking homes but modified to fit other peoples needs. there usually for troubled tenns people with mental disorders or kids who have really bad behavoirl issues and there parents dont want to take care of them. you can stay in a group home for long periods of time usually and some people ( such as senoirs ) stay the rest of their lives.

I'm so sorry to hear that, being suicidal is so depressing and it hurts everyone around you. and it depends on how long they wanna keep you, they have doctos on you 24/7 for suicide watch I was there for 6 days before i was able to recover and go home but it depends on what the doctors say it could be days, weeks months..
