Today at school
We had our school award presentation.
The house I'm in is called Shannon house
We where Black jumpers with a blue and bronze logo which is different to each house.
At every presentation we where black robes with a blue inside and blue and bronze accents.
When our head teacher had annonced all the awards apart from the overall winners
Everyone sat very tensly until she shouted "SHANNON HOUSE"
(She's a bit mad.)
Everyone had stopped clapping and the pictures had been taken and it was that awkward moment when no one was talking.
As head of Shannon I found it the perfect moment to shout to break the silence:
"And Ravenclaw win the house cup."

She leans down on the mossy grass. The wet ground soaks through the knees of her jeans. But that is a distant though in her mind. She is ready to say goodbye. Memories of the times they spent together. One memory in particular comes to mind. She has to say goodbye to her best friend.
