Chapter 16
Andrea's P.O.V
Alec drove me to Ryan and Jesses apartment, no questions asked.
It made me wonder why all guys weren't like Alec. Alec was perfect in every single way. “Are you going to be okay?” he asked.
“Fine,” I murmured.
“Do you want me to come out with you? I'll walk you there.” I didn't run off like I had been planning to.
“What if something bad happened to him?”
“I'm sure nothing did,” Drake told me.
“B-but-”
“But what? I'm sure he's perfectly fine, he probably wants to apologise for his behaver. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.” Is that the reason? If so, why was it Ryan who called me and why did he sound so stressed?
“Okay, I'm going to go up,” I decided.
“Go, good luck beautiful,” Alec said. He got out of the car, giving me a big hug and kissing my forehead. “I know I don't know you all that well but I decided you're my best friend.” A grin formed on my face.
“You're my best friend as well,” I mumbled into his chest.
“Go,” he urged. I went into the apartment building and made my way to Ryan and Jesses apartment. I knocked on the door. My nerves were killing me.
What if something really bad happened?
Ryan answered, quickly. “What is wrong with him?”
“He-he won't come out of his r-room. I can't get him out,” Ryan breathed.
“You gave me a heart attack! I thought something bad had happened to him! I can't believe you did that, I thought he was dying or something,” I laughed but Ryan didn't smile what so ever.
“Andi...”
“What happened to him?”
“Andi, today is Jesse's parents and brothers one year.”
“What?” I furrowed my eyebrows.
“Today, last year, his whole family died in a car accident.”
“Is he okay?!” The panic in my voice was clear as day.
“I don't know, he won't open his door.”
“I'm sure he's fine, he probably just needs some space.” I said it more for me then anybody else. I needed reassuring that Jesse was fine.
“Jesse is going to kill me for this... but I think you should know...” Ryans voice trailed off.
“Tell me,” I demanded.
“Jesse has tried to commit suicide on numerous occasions.”
