i find it really strange how one minute, everyone on this website is like, "yeah! feminism! these are our bodies and we can do what we want with them!" and the next minute, the top quote of the day is about someone publicly mocking a girl on facebook for wearing a (small) bikini, and all the comments say that it's hilarious.

    Just a cut.
    Just a scratch.
    "What's that mark?"
    "It was the cat."
    Just an excuse.
    Just a lie.
    "What's with all the bracelets?"
    "Just fashion, why?"
    Just a tear.
    Just a scream.
    "Why were you crying?"
    "Just a bad dream."
But it's not just a cut or a tear, or a lie.
It's always just one more until you die.

    | chapter | 50 | note | ♥ |
Hi guys, the final chapter was really long so I have to put the note here because I have a lot to say haaha. Well first off, thank you for reading another one of my stories! I know I said I wouldn't be able to post it today but it turned out I was able to :) So for those of you who have read the Second Best Series, you know I like writing multiple point of views from different characters, because as we all know, there's always more than one side to a story. Would anyone be interested in Girlfriend's Best Friend? ;) It may take a few weeks to write up, but if you guys will read it, I'll write it :)
    commentttttt!

    Just breath
    Chapter One
"Mom, I have cheer after school today." I called to my scientist of a mom. She was hunched over the kitchen table, probably examining a cornflake or something. She grunted a short response which I took as yes,
so I grabbed a granola bar and headed out the door.
I flipped my thick brunette hair over my shoulders and examined my lightly made up emerald green eyes in my
pink compact. I snapped it shut just as Jake, my somewhat boyfriend, rode up on the curb and unlocked his car.
"Hey babe." He kissed me quick as I got in the car.
"Jake, please. I just did my make up." He smiled at me and pulled away.
"So, how do you feel?" He asked, after a few moments of silence.
I shrugged and picked at my manicure. "I feel no different, don't be stupid. I'm just 19."
He was still smiling, even though i'd insulted him. "Hey, sorry babe." His right hand strayed from the wheel and rubbed my left thigh softly. Okay, i'll admit it, I was kind of a wh*re, and Jake was turning me on majorly.
Which is why Jake was only my somewhat boyfriend.
I ignored the rush of warmth that shot up my legs and circled my gut. I pushed his fingers off of my skirt and pointed at the road. "Could we focus on not killing us?" His smile faltered, "Sure, babe."
He parked in the closest spot at the school and we got out. He tried to hold my hand but I skipped forward and hooked my arm around my BFF Angela.
"Angie, baaby." I said, as she kissed my cheek and looped our arms together. "19 Babe. Woohoo."
We walked arm in arm to first period. Well, almost first period.
Luke Watson stopped us just outside the door, a sub teacher. He held out his hand.
"Allison." I sighed and pushed Angie ahead,
"I'll be right in." The bell rang and the halls emptied.
"Luke, I don't have your money right now." He grunted, "I saw that coming."
I inched closer to him and ran my fingers up his arm.
Goosebumps appeared where my nails skimmed, he looked away.
"Miss Gray. The money." I shook my head, "Luke, I'm reeeeally sorry."
I layed the sincerity on thick. His gaze melted a little. I pressed myself up against him and wound my arms around his neck. "Come on. You know you can't resist a pretty girl like me." Reluctantly his fingers spidered across my spine and rested on my hips. I pulled his lips towards mine and kissed him hungrily, chasing away his reason for coming to me.
I nipped his ear when he pulled away. His chin stubble scraped my cheek, and I was really turned on.
"I know a place.." I whispered into his ear. He pulled me up so hard I gasped, but directed him down the short hall and into the empty music room.
Let's just say that when he left, I didn't owe him anything. But he did slip his number into my black lace bra as I slid my shirt back on. He kissed me lightly again, smacked my butt, and strode out of the room.
And it didn't even bother my that he was probably almost 30.
And I pranced into first period.

    Firefly
    Chapter 6
“You’re back early,” Grandma told me. She sat in her usual spot, over the counter, knitting.
“Uh, he got food poisoning,” I explained, putting my wristlet down.
She chuckled. “I’ve had plenty of relationships that ended because of that.”
“Oh, I’m not totally breaking it off with him,” I explained. “We’re going out on another date.”
She tilted her head at me. “Why?”
I laughed awkwardly. “He couldn’t control getting food poisoning. I had to give him another chance.”
I saw the way she was looking at me. “You really like him.”
“I mean, he’s cute,” I told her, feeling my cheeks getting red and biting my lip, looking away from her.
“Of course he’s cute!” she exclaimed, “Or you wouldn’t want to see him again after something as embarrassing as that.”
“I didn’t care about him getting sick,” I clarified. “I work around people throwing up all the time.”
She dipped her chin at me. “Does he know about that?”
“Know about what?” Kayla asked from the couch, putting her book down.
“Where you work,” Grandma explained, still speaking to me.
“Why does that matter?” Anna piped in, now fully involved in the conversation.
“Kayla,” I sighed. “I was talking to GG. Not to you. Could you not intrude?”
“It’s a small house,” she informed me, “It’s not exactly easy to keep secrets.”
“Please,” I moaned, “Just go to your room.”
She rolled her eyes at me and skipped off into the other room, but she didn’t shut the door.
“Did you tell him?” Grandma demanded.
    “No.”
She shrugged her body and rolled her eyes. “Lizzie!”
“It didn’t come up in conversation. What do you want me to do? Just out of the blue announce I’m a prostitute?”
“What’s a prostitute?” Kayla called from the floor of her bedroom.
“Kayla!” I called. I heard her giggling and her door shut.
“You know, Lizzie, you’re going to have to tell him eventually.”
I sighed, looking away from her. “I know, Grandma. I know.”
So um there's a chance I could be kicked out of my house on Monday. Legal issues and sh.t.
So, I will try not to let it disrupt my posting, but if I don't update for a few weeks after this upcoming Monday, it's because I'm not in a regular living situation, and I don't have direct access to either my writing or Witty. Just thought I should give you all a heads up (:
    I still love feedback!
