Michael’s POV
Thank god Molly walked in; I would’ve been so screwed.
“Molly!” Regina screamed.
She ran up to Molly and gave her a huge hug. Molly went to get her chocolate fudge sundae, while Regina tried to think of something to say. I smiled at her awkwardness.
“You’re so awkward.” I said with a grin.
“I don’t know how to respond to that.” She said.
“Its fine, it was a little sudden. Just don’t be awkward with me, okay?”
“Okay, I won’t I promise.” She smiled at me. Her smile made me melt.
We waited for Molly to sit down and start eating before we talked again.
“I heard you guys are doing a duet.” Molly said with a fake smile on her face.
“Yeah, we just got done practicing. I love it.” Regina smiled. She knew she was making Molly mad.
“Well, I’m doing a solo next year.” Molly sneered.
“Me, too.” Regina’s smile got wider.
“Well, have fun with your spotlight.”
Wow, Molly. You are so rude. Anyway, Molly left and we got up to walk home.
“I might like you a little, too.” Regina said.
“Are you joking?”
“No, not at all. You’re really cute.”
“No, you’re really cute.”
“No need to argue that fact.” She is so cocky. I love it.
“Race you home!” I said and took off.
“No fair you got a head start.” She said grinning.

Chapter 5
Regina’s POV
I made him wait until we finished practicing all of our dances. He seemed anxious. I knew something was going to happen.
Our duet was beautiful. Why does he have to be such a player? After we finished, we went upstairs. I asked my mom if Michael could stay longer. She didn’t care so we went outside and walked. It was kind of awkward at first, but soon we started to lighten up.
“What’s your family like?” I asked after a long silence.
“My mom is a dentist, my dad is a social worker, and I have an older brother, Joey, he’s 15. What about you.” He said as if he had explained it a million times.
“My sister is 14 and her name is Liz, but we call her Lizard. My brother is 9, his name is David, but we call him Junior. My mom is a teacher, and my dad lives in Arizona.” I said proudly. I was extremely happy with my family, except when my mom is on her period.
We talked for a long time and found ourselves at the little ice cream shop on the corner. We walked into Carella’s and ordered our ice cream. I got a peanut butter cup sundae, and he got a mint chocolate chip in a cone. We sat down inside and listened to the wind blow the trees outside for a while.
“Look, I really hope this doesn’t ruin anything before it even starts, but I like you.” He said to after he played with his ice cream.
I was shocked. I put my spoon down and stared right at Michael. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was so confused. Does he really like me? The thoughts we going round and round in my head. My thought was interrupted by the bell on the door as someone walked in. Molly.

Chapter 4
Michael’s POV
My life withReginais the same as it used to be; except now she is closer then I could have ever hoped.Reginais so flexible and beautiful. I wish she could just realize how much I like her. I went over her house on that Saturday to practice in her basement. I made sure I put on the deodorant and cologne and my hair was perfectly spiked. I was ready to see if she liked me.
I got there and rang her doorbell. Outside her house were mums and two trees. There were a few boys that looked about her age riding down the rode on their skateboards. Her house was small and cute. She opened the door and smiled when she saw me. Her hair was in a messy pony tail, and she was wearing sweatpants. She had a tank-top on that didn’t cover her stomach completely. I opened the screen and walked in. She hugged me. She smelled really good.
“My basement’s over here.” She led me to a little hallway. There was a bathroom a closet and the door to her basement. She opened the door and walked down.
“Shut the door, my brother is really nosy.”
I did as I was told and shut the door. She ran down the steps and skipped the last three. She giggled and she pulled out a ballet bar from the closet.
“I don’t do ballet.” I said.
“I do, but we just need it to stretch.”
We started stretching. I pushed her scorpion back until she screeched. I gently put her leg back down on the floor. She put on our hip-hop song and she counted. I really wanted to practice our duet but I kept my mouth shut. After going through hip-hop, jazz, and theatre jazz, she finally put our song on. It was so perfect.

Don't regret a thing & don't dwell over the past. There's a reason behind everything, Say Hi to a stranger, tell someone they're beautiful, tell someone you love them, don't go to bed mad at somebody, Forget, Forgive, Love, hate. Be yourself. Do what you want. & feel free to say what you feel. Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means you have to stand alone. Just life your life, some people don't get the chance to. Take advangtage of it, Feel. Alive.

Long but please read. I need help.
I'm scared to be in my house. My house is getting vandilized. No, like bad. First it was dog poop in a bag. Then, it went to eggs. My mom started calling the police then. It started getting worse, and worse. Just a few nights ago, there was a loud thud.We couldn't find anything outside. The next morning we found the outside of our double window completly shattered and a broken mini snow globe in the garden. My mom bought security camera's and we put them up two nights ago. last night, there was nothing. Tonite, we had quite a few hits. A few rocks and eggs. The first hit we caught a figure on one of the cameras we couldn't make out a face, the police came. I'm still scared.

Regina’s POV
She wanted us to practice it. I felt Michaels hand brush against mine as he went into the waiting room. My mom wouldn’t be there for another fifteen minutes and his brother has a class after ours. So it was just me and Michael in the waiting room. Great.
“You’re really light.” Michael said, trying to lighten the mood.
“Thanks, I’m 96 pounds and proud.” I smirked.
“Whoa, that’s amazing. I love the song.”
“It’s so pretty. I think that we should have done a different one especially because you didn’t know my name.” I had to giggle at my remark, I’m just so funny.
“You’re still on that? Please forgive me.” He gave me a puppy dog face that I couldn’t resist.
“Fine.”
He laughed a little and then looked out the window. A car pulled in but it wasn’t my mom. They were going next door to the pizza place. I took my phone out and texted Melissa. I just said hey. I only text her when I get so bored my mind feels like falling out of my head. Michael turned toward me and took his phone out.
“What’s your number?” He asked. I was shocked.
“Uhh, why?”
“Well, if we have to practice, we should have some way of communication.”
“Okay.” I gave him my number and he gave me his.
My mom pulled up and I went outside. He texted me the second I got in the car. Wow, Michael.
“I have a duet with Michael.” I said to my mom.
“I know, Maria told me last week before she even choreographed it.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“It was supposed to be a surprise. I’m so proud of you!”
The rest of the ride home was quiet and I texted Michael all that night. I was beginning to sense a little feelings coming from him.

Michael’s POV
Okay, I admit it, I asked Maria to give me and Regina a duet together for the next year. I couldn’t help it. She was short and pretty and so adult for 12, even though I’m only 11. I helped Maria choreograph the dance and try to keep me as close to her as possible. I didn’t think it would work. I thought she would refuse because I’m cocky. I’m not though. I just need to be confident because I’m the only boy in this class. Regina’s body fit perfectly with mine and we moved together. I stumbled a few times and she giggled. Her teeth were perfectly straight and she still had baby teeth. I smiled too, which made Maria smile. She doesn’t like me though. I just have to do the duet with her and hope that she will feel the same way.
“One more time.” Maria said starting the music over again.
I grabbed her hand.
“I’ll try to keep up.” I said with a grin. She giggled because she knew I wasn’t joking. Yeah, I’m the cocky one. We started our dance and it was perfect again.
“Okay times up you guys. It would be great if you guys can meet over summer and practice this. I want to be able to put it in one of our competitions.” Just as planned, Thanks Maria! Perfect.

Regina’s POV
“Regina, you and Michael are going to be doing a duet next year. I need to see your strengths and weaknesses.” Mrs. Maria said half smiling.
“I don’t think my mom can afford that.” I said blankly trying to avoid eye contact with the boy that she wants me to dance with.
“No charge what so ever. I will pay for costumes and the classes, because I want you guys to do this. That is why I called you both here for the extra two hours.” She said plainly her smile getting wider as she spoke.
I frowned and agreed to the request. Michael and I started our stretch routine and he pushed me into a scorpion. Mrs. Maria smiled. Maria was Michael’s aunt and he got every solo he wanted. It was the prettiest dance I have ever seen. Too bad it was wasted on a player and an innocent girl. After a few minutes of practicing the lift with Maria, Michael put his hands on my waste and I put mine around his neck. He spun me around so my feet were off the floor and when he slowed down he lowered me into a split. Without letting go he lifter me back up and I put my legs around his waste and he spun around again. I did a back-bend and walk over. I took his hand and walked forward toward the mirror. It was perfect. I almost felt something for those four counts of eight. Then, he dropped my hand and the song was over. Melissa immediately clapped louder then everyone else. I had to smile. I knew she was going to meddle and try to get us together. Typical, Melissa.
“Wow, you’re amazing.” Michael said to me.
“Think you will remember my name now?” I said a little too cocky. Whoops.
“Yeah, I think so.” He said with a giggle.
He has really pretty eyes, I thought sitting down and taking a sip of my vitamin water. I’m not falling for it though.

Regina’s POV
The sky was darkening as I got into the car to go to my dance school. It was the last practice before the school year ended and I was so excited. My sixth grade year was finally going to be over! I’m not going to be a baby anymore. When we got into the parking lot my best friend Melissa ran up to the car. I hopped out and greeted her with the biggest hug. We walked into the Dance school and I waved goodbye to my mom. I wouldn’t see her for about three hours. I got in there and saw a few girls stretching on the floor and a boy in the corner practicing, as usual. Melissa and I walked over to Nicole and Molly. I gave the fifth graders high fives and we sat down to stretch. Michael, the boy that was practicing came over to us and started talking. He stretched and waited for Mrs. Maria to come in and go over the dances with us.
“Regina, you look sick.” Maria said when she saw me.
“Must be nerves, I have been really excited about this.” I replied.
“Alright, I’ll let you dance.” I felt Michael looking at me even though I couldn’t see him out of the corner of my eye. Its funny, I’ve know him for five months and he still doesn’t know my name. Cocky. We got in line and practiced our many routines. We stopped after an hour and took a break for drinks. I went next door to the pizza place and got vitamin water. Michael walked in as I was paying and he started speaking to me.
“You know, you’ve gotten way better since the first day you started.” He said to me with a smirk.
“I would hope so.” I replied, annoyed that he even said that.
“I never caught your name.”
“Figures, your always flirting with some girl from here.”
“That was a little uncalled for.”
I walked out of the shop. I wasn’t arguing with him tonight. I got back in the dance school ready to practice again, when my teacher told me some strange news.
