30 Days; 30 Letters Challenge
Day 4
Dear parents, I wish you understood what goes on in my life. How much everyone hates me, how much my life sucks, and how bad I wish for freedom. Mom, thank you for expanding the rules. Thank you for letting me and Kristen walk up to Target and Starbucks even though it's on a highway, and I know you worry. Thank you for letting me walk up to the stores on Udall Road, and not freaking out when I ask, even though you don't want me just hanging out up there. And thank you for allowing me to get dropped off at the outlets with a friend to go shopping, because I know you don't trust other people. Dad, thanks for... being dad x D Thank you for watching out for me, and defending me when mom doesn't trust me. Thank you for trying to reach out to me with the toy's you build. Thank you for not taking all my college money to pay for your hobby like my friends dad did. And thank you for caring enough to break your habit of smoking since you were 12 to save me and Marissa, and to save yourself. Thank you for caring enough to buy the forty dollar gum to quit smoking. And thanks for taking me out at 3 in the morning to buy some gum and coffee. I love you Mom and Dad.
