    Beautiful Disaster
    Chapter 13: Taylor's POV
"What exactly is the point of science, anyway?" I grumbled lowly and tapped my pen frustrated on my textbook.
What time was it, anyway? I feel like I've been at this science homework alone for the whole night. What was Mr. Laset thinking, giving so much to be due tomorrow?
I clicked the power button on my cell phone, bringing me to the lock screen. The time, 9:36, flashing in large numbers across the top.
I rolled my eyes, falling backwards into the kitchen table's chair as I let out a frustrated groan.
Most of the time, schoolwork came easily to me. But when it came to science, that was a completely different story.
It was like I was reading a whole new language, one you could never learn in a life time, you know?
I stood up to get a snack, and at the same time, I heard the back door, which was located in the kitchen, click open.
My eyes widened, and I grabbed the nearest item beside me, just in case I had to fight back.
What if some crazy serial killer found my mom at work, and took her keys, now he was coming to kill me, Tara, and Spencer?
"Hey Taylor!" my mom's cheerful voice boomed, well, a little more cheerful than usual.
I smiled, half heartedly, as I placed down the wooden spoon I'd picked up. What good would that had done me if there really was a serial killer?
    I'd probably be dead already.
"What's up?" I asked, as she sat down at the island counter, sprawling her papers all over.
My mom studied her papers hard for a minute, before looking up to me with a smile. "Guess who I talked to today?" she said, before turning her attention back to her work.
I felt so helpless when it came to my mom working. She went double hours, just to keep us in the house we're in. At least ever since dad left.
Even Spencer and Tara had jobs to help out, luckily it was just enough.
"Who?" I asked, gathering my school papers together. If anything, I could easily finish my homework in homeroom, or ask Kerrie for answers if needed.
"Well, I was on the phone, comfirming orders, when I talked to a Gregory Shea." my mom said, looking up at me carefully as she trailed off.
I stared at her, wide-eyed. I knew she was talking about dad, but I wasn't sure where exactly this was going.
I swallowed the lump in my throat, "And what happened?" I asked, reluctant for my mom's reply.
My mom smiled reassuringly to me, leading me to believe something I did not want to hear would be said.
I should have ran away at that point, before I thought the worst, but I couldn't move. I felt compelled to know what happened. This was my father who I hadn't had contact with in three years.
"Well, he lives right outside of Boca Raton, coincidentally, and invited us over for dinner tomorrow, and I said yes."
I didn't even have a minute to think of what to do next, because, once I did, I was already upstairs, hidden in the bathroom.
I couldn't go to a dinner with my father, my mother knows what happened the last time! Besides, he couldn't have changed his opinion on me that much.
Fat b//tch. That's what he'd probably refer me as to his new family. A fat b//tch.
I furiously wiped away the few tears that began dribbling down my cheek, and stood up, and turned on the shower.
I then walked back over towards the toilet, and fell onto my knees, hunching over it.
Luckily for me, I had just eaten dinner, not too long before my mother came home, making purging it all much easier than it had been in the past.
Once I was finished, I stood up, and washed my face and teeth in the sink. I then reached into the cabinet, and pulled out the scale Tara had just bought, a few months earlier, when she started her new diet plan.
Stepping on it, I still didn't feel satisfied with the numbers that showed on it.
"108," I scoffed, confused, "I know I can do better than that."
:O What's going to happen next?!

    Beautiful Disaster
    Chapter 12: Brett's POV
I walked out of the school after soccer, completely exhausted.
Since the girl's practice was cancelled, Coach Torrence saw this as an opportunity to work on speed training.
Which, basically meant, running sprints, suicides, laps, and anything you could think of for the entire two and a half hours we had practice.
"I'm so hungry, I could probably eat the entire back seat of your car." Andrew groaned, as we tossed our bags in the trunk of my car.
I slammed the back shut, eyeing him curiously. "Uh, how about you don't do that." I suggested.
Ryan laughed shortly, as Andrew rolled his eyes, and we piled into the car.
"So, did I tell you guys that I'm taking Samantha on a second date," Andrew said, breaking the silent car ride between the three of us.
Ryan and I looked at each other briefly, not buying it. As you all know, Andrew wasn't one to take a girl on a first date, nevermind a second one.
"Oh really now?" Ryan said, turning around and smirking at him.
Andrew nodded vigorously, before he continued speaking. "Yeah, really. It's weird, but I actually really do like her." he said, widening his eyes as he spoke.
I nodded, approvingly. If Andrew actually was serious about what he'd said, then she must really be something. This is Andrew we're talking about! He's been with more girls, than the entire soccer team combined.
"Seems everybody can ask a girl on a date, but Brett." I knew that was coming sooner or later.
I eyed Ryan in the corner of my eye, thinking of how exactly I could fight back.
Sure, I did like Taylor, but both Andrew and Ryan knew I wasn't ready for a relationship. It'd take at least six months for me to actually confess I have feelings towards Taylor to her, let alone ask her out.
"Now, come on, Ry. You know I-" I began, warningly, but Ryan cut me off.
"I know, Brett. You're not ready to be in an actual relationship, with a girl. But you could at least tell the two of us, your best friends, that you actually like Taylor." Ryan suggested, turning to Andrew for help.
Andrew nodded, also, "Yeah, we could help you out, you know?" He said, pulling his body up between mine and Ryan's seats.
As we stopped at a red light, I turned to Andrew, glaring at him.
He raised his hands defensively as he apologized, as he fell back into his seat, rebuckling his seatbelt.
"Better," I began, turning my attention back to the road, and turning on Andrew's block, "but still, I don't need help. Taylor's a friend, that's it."
Ryan rolled his eyes, and Andrew let out a frustrated groan. I stifled a laugh, before continuing.
"Look, not every girl I talk to is a potential date. I can be friends with a girl, you know." I said, as we stopped at Andrew's house.
"Oh come on, you two have chemistry, no matter how much you might deny it." Andrew said, shrugging his shoulders as the two of us looked at him.
"You know something's serious when Andrew actually makes sense." Ryan said, thumbing over his shoulder towards the back seat, as Andrew sat there, satisfied.
"Yeah, that's righ-hey!" Andrew said, punching Ryan's arm.
Maybe they were right, Taylor and I did connect. I mean, we had a lot in common, from what I knew so far.
But there was still so much to her that I didn't know. For all we know, she could be some phsyco crazy serial killer, and I'm her next victim.
There's so much I have to get to know about her, before I could bring myself to admit I have feelings for her.
Bleeeeh. Sorry for leaving you with such a sucky chapter after not wiritng for a few days:/

    Beautiful Disaster
    Chapter 11: Taylor's POV
"So, how have things with you and Ryan been going so far?" I asked Kerrie, as we stepped into my house.
She shrugged, trying her best to hide a smile from reaching on her face.
I know she wasn't saying a word so I wouldn't feel bad about her budding relationship with Ryan, but it didn't phase me. I wasn't in desperate need of a relationship, and I was happy for my best friend.
"He's taken me on a few dates, but that's pretty much it. We talk all the time though," she said, the smile she was trying to hold back, finally finding a way to carefully peek it's way through.
"Do you think he'll make it official soon?" I asked, sitting carefully on her bed, and grabbing the television remote.
She shrugged, biting on her bottom lip. "I really don't know. But I hope so, I really like him." she said, her smile flashing back across her face, before she began talking again. "What about you and Brett? How are you two going?"
I rolled my eyes, and fought back the urge to throw a pillow at her. She knew there was nothing going on between the two of us! I'd said before that we were only friends!
"Before you deny there's anything going on, I know something is," she stopped, rethinking her words, "or at least something will."
I shook my head, not believing her.
But in the back of my head, the thought of that happening peeped through to the front. And I thought about how nice it would be, to have a healthy relationship with somebody like Brett.
We really clicked, as much as I didn't want to admit it. But I didn't want to get attached, especially if he doesn't like me back.
I knew better, when my dad walked out on my mom, on our family. We were all torn up. I know what it's like to be hurt by somebody you thought was somebody important to you. It sucks.
I never wanted to experience that again.
Besides, I knew for a fact Brett didn't like me, in a way that Kerrie thought. He wasn't one for relationships, as he's said to me before. I just didn't know why.
"I doubt it," I scoffed to Kerrie, crossing my arm, stubbornly.
"Shutup, Taylor, and quit being a b//tch. You know, in the back of your head, that you two could be something." she grinned, waggling her eyebrows. It was as if she had just read my thoughts.
Strangely enough, that seems to happen all the time with us. Weird how our friendship works.
"I guess so, maybe." I said, partially agreeing with her, "but like I said, I still doubt anything would happen."
Kerrie's face lit up, and her eyes widened. "So you just admited to liking Brett?" she asked, in complete awe.
I shrugged, shaking my head. "I don't know. I mean, he's cute, but we've still become good friends in a short amount of time. What if it becomes weird between us?" I asked, nervous.
Kerrie punched my arm, and gave me a funny look. "Oh quit the bulls//t. Go for it! What's the worst that could happen?" she encouraged.
"Well, I mean, except for the fact if you guys do end up being together, only to get in this huge fight and never speak again, ruining both your friendship and relationship between you two forever." Kerrie continued, giving her shoulders a light shrug as she spoke.
I glared at her with daggers. Was there really a point to actually bringing that up?
"By the way, Tay, have you lost some weight? You pants look a little more baggier than they usually do." she complimented, and I felt my face immediately drain from color.
I stood up, and began walking towards the bathroom connected to her room, as I spoke over my shoulder.
"Maybe, I-I guess. I mean, I've been cutting down on junk food, and soccer's started back up." I lied, mentally thanking God that she had asked this now, in the beginning of the season, and not the offseason.
I then found myself feeling more calm and collected, and turned back towards Kerrie as she raised her eyebrows, giving me an approving look.
"Jeez, I wish I was as lucky with losing weight as you. You could probably drop 10 pounds in two weeks if you wanted too, just by eating better and going to soccer." she said, her voice trickling with jealousy.
If only you knew my real diet plan. You'd think I'm anything but lucky, and jealousy would be out the window. I thought to myself, quickly, before flashing her a fake, but believable smile as I thanked her.
"Oh shut up," I began, rolling my eyes, "I'd kill to have your body!" I gushed, truthfully.
Ever since I'd met Kerrie, I'd practically pray to be able to rock a bikini, or high waisted shorts, or whatever the latest trend was, like she could. How lucky can you get?
Kerrie gave me a look of complete disbelief. "Are you kidding me? It's your body I'd love to have! Did you look in the mirror lately?" she questioned, playfully shoving my shoulder.
Yes, I have, seeing nothing but the same fat b//tch my dad saw, three summers ago.
Oh god, I made like three chapter 8's on accident. Obviously the first was right, the next was suppose to be 9, and the one after was 10, and Taylor's POV, if you didn't guess. SOrry for the confusion!

    Beautiful Disaster
    Chapter 8: Brett's POV
"Brett!" I called out from across the hall, as I spotted him after school.
He looked around, searching for the voice that had just called his name, as I made my way to him.
He never answered my text from earlier today, when usually he always answers me, so I thought maybe it didn't go through. But I just wanted to be sure
"Hey Taylor," he said, smiling widely as I caught his electrifyingly green eyes sparkling as usual.
I couldn't lie if I tried to, but I think Brett was one of the few guys I'd actually who's eyes I could get lost in. Just one look at them, and I could feel my entire train of thought crash into a hard wall.
I guess you could say it was a bit of a crush, because Brett wanted nothing to do with me, relationship wise. We'd become pretty good friends, I'd say, in the recent few weeks, which was fine with me.
I felt like I could trust him. Like I could actually tell him every aspect about my life.
    I just didn't know how.
"Did you get my text? Or are you ignoring me as usual?" I joked, grinning playfully at him.
Brett rolled his eyes at me joking, before he answered.
"I got caught texting, and now I have detention this Friday, at 3." he grumbled, messaging his temples to stay calm.
I half-smiled, holding in the urge to laugh at him. The great Brett Daniels, actually being caught in the act of texting?! That's sometime I would have loved to see.
"So looks like Friday's back out of the question." I shrugged, as I made my way to my locker.
I punched in my combination, and swung my locker open, tossing in almost all of my books. For some odd reason today, nearly all of my teachers gave out little to no homework tonight.
"Don't close it, Taylor!" I heard a very familiar voice yell all the way from down the hallway.
I twirled around, to see Kerrie speeding my way, struggling to keep her books in her arms as she ran towards Brett and I.
I paused, just as I was about to shut my locker, and looked over to Brett, who gave me a closed smile as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Ugh, you're a lifesaver. I would have had to taken everything home today." Kerrie said as she breathed heavily, exhausted.
"Or, you could have used your own locker." I laughed, slamming my locker closed as she finished putting her books away.
Kerrie rolled her eyes, closing up her bag.
"Come on, if we're going to actually catch up on our Pretty Little Liars before the new episode tonight, we have to leave soon." Kerrie said, tapping at her watch situated on her wrist.
Brett raised an eyebrow, "Don't you have soccer too?" he asked, as we walked towards the main exit.
I shook my head, giving a teasingly smile at him. "Our coach was sick today, so it was cancelled."
Brett let out a frustrated groan as he slumped his shoulders, "Great, looks like we're using both fields today." he said, sarcastically.
I smiled, sympathetically, and shrugged. I didn't really know what there was for me to say to that.
"I'll call you or something when I get home," Brett said, as Kerrie and I walked out the school.
I nodded, turning back to Kerrie, who was smiling like a maniac as she looked at me.
"What are you staring at?" I snapped, giving her a funny look.
Kerrie shook her head, "Nothing, nothing at all." We reached her car, and both of fell in our usual seats. "It's just, Brett Daniels said he'd call you when he gets home."
"Yeah, so, what's that suppose to mean?" I asked, picking at the same irritating hangnail I'd been trying to get rid of since 3rd period.
"Don't play dumb, spill the deats." she demanded, revving the engine, before pulling out of the school's parking lot.
I looked over to Kerrie as she waggled her eyebrows at me, before glueing her eyes back onto the road.
    "What deats, Ker? We're friends."
Kerrie laughed loudly, obviously not buying it. "Oh come on, Taylor! Ryan asks me almost everyday what you think of Brett. It's obvious he likes you!"
I rolled my eyes. Was there something I was missing here that I didn't know about?
"He's cute," I thought, shrugging slightly, "but we're still just friends," I warned, pointing a finger at Kerrie.
Knowing Kerrie for as long as I have, the only way to get her out of setting me up with some guy, was to give her 'the point,' as we called it.
It was something pretty silly and childish, but it worked better than I thought.

    Chapter 8: Brett's POV
"So," I began, nudging Taylor's shoulder softly as we walked back into the school, "when's this little competition between us?"
She eyed me, her face partially puzzled, before she finally registered what exactly I meant. "Hmm," she stated, tapping her chin in thought, "I'm feeling next week, at the soccer field across from the park?"
I nodded, agreeing. As of now, there was nothing I really had to do then. "Fine by me. I just hope you're prepared to lose." I warned her, smiling mischieviously.
She rolled her eyes in disbelief. As much as I hated to admit it. It was true that boys were better than girls, at least in the athletic sence. Think about it, boys naturally grow taller, and faster than girls. So it isn't realy a surprise that they're stronger as well.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever let's you fall asleep at night." she said, waving me off jokingly. "But in all seriousness, I'll definitely be beating you." she said, as the warning bell rang.
I noticed as most of the students began to scurry around the halls, trying to get to their classes on time. Usually, most people do that once the bell rang, notifying that the class has begun. Basically, they're just rushing to be the first one in the classroom.
I heard Taylor giggle softly, as she threw her right hand on my shoulder and chest.
I turned my attention back to her, and raised my eyebrow in confusion.
Taylor shook her head, settling her laughs down so she could speak. "It's nothing," she reassured, "it's just your face while you watched them run by was hysterical." she said, smiling widely as she remembered.
I rolled my eyes. Of course when I embarass myself privately, it would be announced to the public. Or lack of, seeing as if every hallway surrounding us was practically empty. Which was a pretty rare sight to see.
I eyed the clock, noticing there was only three minutes left for me to get to English class.
Usually I wouldn't care about being late. But seeing that Mrs. Acker was out to get me, it was best for me, and my school record, to get there on time.
To this day, I never found out what exactly it was to make that woman hate me so much. But she still managed to do it.
"I really have to get going, but I'll call you tonight, and we'll work out a plan." I smiled to Taylor, and she nodded before I walked off.
    ******
"Sorry, Mrs. A." I said quickly as I walked into her classroom.
I took my usual seat right between Brenden and Ryan, and almost as if on cue, the bell to start the period rang. I glanced over at Mrs. Acker gave me a vicious look, her already dark brown eyes becoming nearly black with anger. Of what, I didn't know.
"It's Mrs. Acker to you, Mr. Daniels" she warned, pointing a thin fainger straight at me as I smiled and nodded at her, "and I would also like you here, ready to go, by the bell."
I nodded vigorously at her, but once she turned around, I rolled my eyes, leaving both of my friends laughing.
I could never catch a break with this woman, could I? I thought, as my phone buzzed softly in my pocket.
Keeping my eyes up front so I wouldn't get caught, I pulled out my cellphone, keeping it hiden between the desk, and my abdomen.
How about Friday, right after school at 3? I half smiled, and looking up again, then at Ryan.
"Who's that?" he asked, smirking as he leaned back in his seat.
"It's Taylor, now keep watch." I said, nodding towards the front of the room. I began to write back to her, but just as I was about to hit send, I heard Mrs. Acker.
"Brett Daniels, what are you doing?" she asked, loud enough for the science classes down the hall to hear.
I looked up, dropping my phone in my lap, as I bit down on my bottom lip. I think this was the very first time I was actually caught in the act of texting in class.
I shrugged, trying my best to keep my cool, "Nothing, I was fixing my watch." I stated, holding up my right hand to show I was wearing one.
Mrs. Acker raised an eyebrow, suspiciously. She already wasn't thrilled with me, and this could send her over the edge to give me a detention slip. "With a big smile on your face?" she asked, curiously.
I looked at Ryan in the corner of my eye, who was practically struggling to hold back from laughing. I'd have to remind him about that later, when he asks for a ride home.
I nodded, and Mrs. Acker's face softened. For a second, I actually thought she believed me, until she said the words, "Detention, after school this Friday."
Well, looks like I'm busy Friday, now.

    Chapter 8: Brett's POV
"Dude, did I tell you how this morning, me and Kylie-"
I glanced over to Ryan, before cutting Andrew off. "Yes, Andrew, you've already said that."
"About one too many times," Ryan mumbles low enough for me to only hear, at least I hope.
Andrew shot both of us a cold, hard glare. "Just because you both can't get a girl to say yes to date you, doesn't mean you could be mean." he frowned.
I looked back over to Ryan again, and we both quietly laughed.
"Actually, I have a date with Kerrie on Friday," Ryan began, before pointing at me, "and Brett just thinks girls have cooties."
"Dude! I do not." I fought back, punching his shoulder.
"Jesus, Brett. No need to get all sensitive and violent." Ryan mumbled, as he rubbed the spot of contact.
I grinned, as I spotted Taylor in the corner of my eye, -walking with another guy?
Nearly instantly, I felt my stomach twist, as if I had just been punched in the abdomen. Strange. I've never had that happen before.
But before I could ignore it, and continue walking with my friends to go out to lunch, I felt myself making my way towards the two of them.
"Hey Taylor," I smiled, as I came into hearing distance of the two of them.
Taylor spun around to face me, and I watched as her creamy brown eyes brightened.
"Hey!" she squealed, as she stuffed two binders into the top shelf of her locker.
I eyed the guy talking to her, wondering exactly what he was doing here.
He's obviously talking, dumby. I thought to myself. Well, what if he's flirting? What gives him the right to that?
Then again, what really gives me the right to be wondering? And questioning him? It's not like I owned Taylor or anything.
    We were friends.
"Oh! Garry, this is Brett. Brett, this is one of my old friends, Garry." she said, introducing the two of us.
I nodded towards him, and I shook his outstretched hand.
He didn't seem familiar, actually. Taylor did say he was an "old friend," meaning he could have just recently moved back.
He was probably in her grade, making it another probable reason for me not to recognize him.
Not to brag or anything, but I could fairly say know most of the school. Besides, most of the school knows me. I guess that made me pretty popular. The Daniels family was kind of a well known around here.
From Dylan's accident, to my sister being valedictorian of 2010. Most of the school, at least, knew who we were.
"That's cool," I said, leaning against the lockers, strangely feeling a little more relaxed.
I quickly checked behind me, seeing my friends waiting patiently for me. What a surprise.
    Well, maybe they weren't patient.
Ryan was grinning, and had his eyebrows raised, as Andrew tapped at an invisible watch on his wrist, restless.
I rolled my eyes, then turned back around, noticing Taylor's friend, Garry, had left.
"He had to get to science class, we have separate lunches." she sighed, slamming her locker shut.
I raised an eyebrow. Taylor had lunch this period as well? Well, I guess that's good.
"You can come out to lunch with me, and the guys of course." I paused, rethinking how I'd just thrown that at her, "I mean, if you want."
The sides of Taylor's face curved up into a small smile, not too wide, but wide enough to show off her dimples. I couldn't help but smile myself, honestly.
"I'd like that, but I don't have enough money to b-" I held up my hand, before I cut her off.
"It doesn't matter, it's my treat." I grinned, winking playfully.
She laughed, and lightly shoved me over as we reached the guys.
"You both know Taylor, right?" I said to both Ryan and Andrew, giving them a warning look when she wasn't looking.
Ryan nodded, as Andrew began speaking, "Oh, so this is the girl you're constantly talking about." he smirked, waggling his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes. I really should have expected that one. It was so like Andrew to be an a//hole like that.
"Ryan, ow." he screeched, gripping the side of his arm tightly.
Ryan shrugged, laughing shortly. "That's what you get for opening your mouth."
Yeah, this chapter took a while, since I was so lost about it. But still, hope you enjoy!

"Mom went out like an hour ago." my older brother, Spencer, called out from the living room.
I rolled my eyes, examining the family portrait hung on the wall beside me. The photographer had my mother, sister, and I all wear white dresses, while my brother wore a white shirt, with beige shorts.
It was on the water, and was the summer after our dad left us, almost three years ago.
Me, Spencer, and our older sister, Tara, still have no idea what drove him to leave. But after the events that happened the day before he left, we didn't really care.
"Spence, can you pass me a piece of bread?" I asked, and he nodded, cutting another piece for me.
My father looked up at me over his plate of pasta, then held my brother's hand to stop him.
"Stop that, she doesn't need another piece." he grumbled.
All day since he'd come home from work, he seemed more stressed out than usual, so I let it slide.
Whenever he's upset, he always says things without any meaning whatsoever behind them. He'd never say that on an ordinary day.
"Frank," my mother said, glancing over at him with a warning look.
My father snapped his neck to face my mother, his face turning pink, like he was holding in anger against her.
I bit my lip, and looked over at Tara, who didn't say a word.
She looked over to me, cautiously with mixed emotions, before going back to eating, like Spencer had also.
"What, Laurie? What? Are you trying to stop me from letting Spencer give her another piece? You and I both know how much weight she's been gaining!" I dropped my fork at that comment, as did almost everybody else at the table.
I felt Tara place her hand on my leg, shaking her head. "Don't listen to that, it's so not true." she said quietly, giving me a half smile.
"Not true?! It definitely is true! It's a good thing she is still playing soccer, or she'd be more of a fat b//ch than she already is!"
Fat B//ch. Up until this day, I still have no idea what exactly set him off to say that about me.
But I did know for sure that it hurt me.
This was my father who thought that about me. Who thought of me as a fat b//ch. My own father.
The one who taught me how to ride a bike, was my first word, who sat sidelines at every one of my games.
So, the next day, when he packed his things and left, I blamed myself.
I knew he was embarassed to call me his daughter, no matter how much he loved me.
So that day, was the day I promised myself that would never happen again. So I started eating better, and excercising more and more.
So much, to the point where I began skipping meals.
That's when I actually saw improvement. I was losing weight, I was becoming faster, and I felt better.
I knew it wasn't right, not to eat, but I couldn't help it. The pain of my father's words drove me away from eating.
It got to the point that I'd make excuses to everybody, even my family and Kerrie, not to eat. And other times, I would eat, only to have it come up, less than an hour later.
Nobody knew about what I was doing to myself. Not Kerrie, not Spencer, not Tara, not my mother.
    And nobody would have to.
Alright, just a chapter about her, so you guys know:) Comment to be notified:)

    Chapter 6
"So, how was Taylor?" Ryan grinned Monday afternoon in the locker room, right before practice.
I paused from tying my cleats, and looked up at him, confused. "What do you mean?"
Ryan looked over to Andrew, Brenden, and Trevor, before they all burst out into laughter. However, once they noticed I was joining them, they all stopped.
"Come on, man, we know you and Taylor Shay hooked up on Friday, so just admit it." Brenden finally said, as he went to tying his cleats as well.
I raised an eyebrow. I remembered my Friday night clearly, and that was not apart of it.
"There's not shame in it, she's hot." Andrew slyly half smiled, leaning against the lockers behind him.
"But we didn't," I said, my voice having some question in it, which usually happened whenever I'm confused.
All three of the guys, and a few others who were listening in, looked towards me. Most of their faces had shock plastered all over it.
"Quit lying, Brett. You basically own one night party hook ups." Ryan said, shaking my shoulders, as if it would knock some sense into me.
"That still doesn't mean me and Taylor did, which we didn't." I said, as I opened the door to the locker room, looking back at the guys as I walked out, falling backwards as I bumped into somebody.
"Ow," I grumbled quietly, as I pulled myself up, to see Taylor on the ground in front of me.
"What a coincidence." Trevor said, as he and most of the team walked out of the locker room and passed me by.
I rolled my eyes, and stepped out of the doorway, "Hey." I smiled.
"Hey," she said, brushing off her shirt and shorts, "looks like we better get used to finding each other this way." she said, laughing shortly.
I smiled at the sound of her laugh, unwillingly. I just couldn't help by how cute it actually sounded.
Wait, what am I saying? Since when has that happened?
"Yeah, if only there was a less painful way." I shrugged, walking beside her down the hall, " and what exactly are you staying after for?"
Taylor kicked at a piece of dust in front of her, before replying. "I'm on the soccer team. What about you?" she asked, shoving my shoulder to the side, lightly.
"Same," I nodded, playfully pushing her over as well.
"Oh really? What position?" she smirked, letting her bag fall off her shoulders as she tossed it on the ground.
She took a seat on the floor beside it, and patted the other side, motioning for me to sit.
"Left midfielder, mostly. What about you?" I asked, as I took a seat next to her.
"Same," she said, "looks like we'll have to see who's the better of the two of us soon," she smirked, elbowing my ribs.
I laughed, and lightly pushed her back, "I think I'd be the winner of that one." I said, proudly.
She rolled her eyes, before I noticed both Ryan and Andrew coming into my sight in front of me.
"Dude, we gotta go like now, or coach might make us run suicides all practice." Ryan said, giving me a sly grin, before motioning for me to get up.
"I'll see you around," I nodded towards her, as she showed off her perfectly straight teeth with a smile as I got up.
"Wait!" She said, as I was just barely in hearing distance of her. She quickly jogged over, reaching into her pocket.
I expected her to hand me something I'd dropped, much like the last time we'd ran into each other like this, but instead, she took a pen out.
She yanked at my arm, and wrote down what seemed to be her number.
"Call me later, we'll set up our match." she smirked, giving me a playful wink before walking off.
I looked at my arm for a minute, before Andrew pulled me out the door.
"Alright, loverboy, I know this is your first crush, but we gotta go!" he said, making me laugh.
Me? Have a crush? Come on, it's a girl giving me her number, it's not like it's never happened before.
No matter how perfect she seems.
Alrighty, another chapter! At least they're getting longer now:D Anyway, let me know if you want to be notified! Give me some feedback:)

    Chapter 4
"I got you a hotdog, just in case," I said, grabbing Taylor's attention as I came back.
Taylor opened her mouth to speak, but caught herself and smiled instead.
"I told you I was fine, Brett, really." she reassured, but I didn't buy it.
It's not like I didn't know how a girl's mind worked, I have two sisters living with me!
"Come on Taylor, you could use some muscle on your skin and bones." I joked, half smiling at her as I bit my cheeseburger.
She rolled her eyes, cautiously watching as I ate, not saying a word until I finished.
I looked over to her as I grabbed my drink to take a sip, and not a bite was taken out of her hotdog.
I bit my lip, completely puzzled. This girl was so stubborn. Unless, maybe she didn't like hotdogs? Or was a vegetarian?
    "Wait, are you-"
She cut me off, frantically, saying "No, no, no." quickly as she shook her head no.
Well, that was a little weird.
I leaned back, and raised my hands slightly over my head, defensively. "Whatever you say. I just hope you're prepared to play," I grinned, glancing inside.
As I looked back to Taylor, she raised her eyebrow in confusion, unknowing of what I meant. I kind of expected it, however.
"You didn't see that game of beer pong going on inside?" I asked, thumbing over my back towards the house and she shook her head. "Well, I could really use a partner, and I think you could be fitting," I shrugged, half smiling.
Taylor looked behind me for a brief moment, then turned back towards me. Her lips curved into a sly smile, as she nodded and said, "You're on."
"Okay, if you start struggling, I could try and make up for it." I said to Taylor, attempting to raise my voice loud enough to be heard over the music.
She glanced over at me, and rolled her chocolate brown eyes, as she spun the ping pong ball in her hand, intimidatingly. She then pulled her arm back, and tossed the ball, sinking a cup with ease.
I felt my mouth nearly drop in disbelief. Who would have thought that good-girl Kerrie's best friend wouldn't be that much of a good-girl.
Anyway, speaking of Kerrie, I wonder what went on between her and Ryan. Maybe they hit it off, last I saw they were talking and laughing outside in the same spot.
"Your turn," Taylor said, nudging my side with her hip, a playful smirk on her face as she spoke.
I followed as she did before, pulling my arm back, then tossing the ball. Instead, only to have it hit right off the middle-most cup.
"Looks like I'll be the one making up for you," she pointed at me, teasingly.
I rolled my eyes, as one of the ping pong balls Harry threw landed in the very top cup.
"Well, this part happens to be my strong point," I said to Taylor, reaching across the table for the cup.
Taylor rolled her eyes once again, and snatched the cup right from my grasp, before taking a long, but quick, gulp.
I eyed her again, in awe. "I guess it was a pretty good idea to pick you,"
She nodded, placing the cup beside her as she sunk another one of Harry and Jessica's cups.
"Let's just say I have an older brother and sister who taught me all I know," she giggled, playfully shoving me to the side.
Yes, I know, this chapter is still pretty short, they'll be longer soon!:D Trust me!

    Beautiful Disaster
    Chapter 4
"I never really noticed how hot Dana Freedle is until tonight," Ryan blurted, bringing his lips up to his cup to take a sip.
I eyed him, strangely. What brought that thought up?
It was about 8, and the party was now in full swing. But even though there was tons of things to do, Ryan and I were just standing in the backyard, filling and re-filling our cups as we waited for something interesting to happen.
Most of our friends, including Andrew, we hadn't seen for a while. I couldn't even tell you if they were even here.
Well, they probably were, the two of us just saw no point in sending out a search party for them.
"What? It's true." Ryan added in, resting his arm on the outdoor bar behind us as he looked ahead.
I shrugged, taking a sip of my drink, then re-filling once I noticed I was all out.
"Dude," Ryan nudged my ribs with his elbow, "speaking of hot, there's that girl Taylor from the other day." he grinned, giving me a funny look.
I rolled my eyes. It wasn't like we magically became friends after bumping into each other like some people do. We bumped into each other, introduced ourselves, and that was it.
"What's that suppose to mean?" I asked Ryan, re-taking my spot beside him as he kept looking forward.
Ryan snorted, like I asked a stupid question. "It means, you could set me up with her friend," he said, nodding towards the girls.
I looked where he was motioning towards to see her with Kerrie, my neighbor. Ryan was attracted to her?
Well, I guess I couldn't really ask that, her family's been pretty close to mine for years now. It'd be weird to see her as something other than a family friend.
"That's my neighbor." I laughed, as Kerrie noticed me staring.
Ryan's eyes bugged out slightly, and he froze from taking another sip of his drink. "Really?"
I nodded, seeing in the corner of my eye as one of the girls walked our way, or both, I couldn't tell.
"Hey Brett, I know you've always had a crush on me, but that's still no excuse to stare." Yep, that was Kerrie.
I rolled my eyes, turning towards both girls, my lips turned into a smile.
"Who said I was staring at you?" I smirked, listening as Taylor laughed from beside her.
Kerrie rolled her eyes, and glared at Taylor, "What? I thought it was funny," she smiled, shrugging at her best friend.
"You guys both suck," she joked, crossing her arms, "who's that?" Kerrie asked, thumbing beside her towards Ryan.
I eyed Ryan, who gave me a warning look. I nodded, and looked back at Kerrie.
"Kerrie, this is Ryan. Ryan, this is Kerrie. You two get to know each other," I said, getting to the point. Besides, we all knew Ryan wouldn't have made a move, so I helped him out.
I grabbed my cup from the counter behind us, quickly filling it to the brim, before breaking myself and Taylor from the two of them.
"What was that?" she asked, as we watched the two of them from a set of lounge chairs, halfway across the yard.
I shrugged, sipping my drink, "He thought she was cute, and I thought I'd help him out."
Taylor half smiled, rolling her eyes.
"Or you just wanted to speak to me again." she said, her smile curving into a sly smirk.
"Nah, I think one time was enough," I joked.
She rolled her eyes, and playfully shoved my shoulder, spilling a bit of my drink.
I eyed her, and she smiled, innocently, "You deserved that one." she giggled.
I let out a sigh, and stood up, this time to grab something to eat. Somebody was grilling earlier, so I had hoped it was still going on.
"Want a hotdog, or something?" I asked, and she shook her head, quickly.
"I, I had something to eat, just before I came," she said, right after, leaving me confused.
I eyed her suspiciously, she was definitely lying. It's not like I've ever been on a date, girls always hate eating in front of guys, dating or not.
Eh, whatever, I'll grab her one, just in case. She wouldn't be able to resist.
"If you say so," I said, placing my drink down before walking off.
WOOO A chapter before a week has passed! hope you guys enjoyed:) Comment for a remind, and leave some feedback!
Don't worry, they'll hopefully be a little longer and in depth as the story goes on:)

    Chapter 3
"So, who was that?" Ryan grinned, as we all piled into my car.
I leaned over as I jammed my car key into the ignition, starting the car, as I shrugged. I didn't really see a big deal in me meeting somebody new.
"And that matters because.." I trailed off, waiting for one of my friends to finish the sentence.
"Dude, she was hot." Andrew added into, tugged at my seat from the back row, becoming more including in the conversation.
I eyed Andrew, and he sat back down, rebuckling. I guess you could say I was pretty big on follow the rules of the road.
Well, at least ever since losing Dylan, my older brother, in a car accident, nearly 5 years ago. The other driver was drunk, and because Dylan was driving without a seatbelt on, he basically flew right through the windshield.
I remember when my mom got the call about it, and we drove to the sight of the accident. It was horrific.
Broken glass, both cars were totaled, and noticable bits of blood. It was anything any 12 year old would not want to witness. Especially when one of his role models was added into the mix.
"I was just saying," Andrew finally said lower than normal, slowly raising his hands partially above his head in defense.
"He is right, she kind of was, Brett." Ryan shrugged, turning back around towards me, "It's not everyday we see your flirt with some random girl you mean," A sly grin peeked onto Ryan's face and I rolled my eyes.
    Just because I wasn't into dating, didn't mean I couldn't hold a conversation with a girl.
"That doesn't mean sh//t." I huffed, keeping my eyes ahead to the road. What exactly were these two getting so worked up about nothing for?
"We're just saying, if a cute girl seems interested, you take that offer," Ryan suggested.
"Or somebody else might," Andrew said, a cocky smile forming on his face as he leaned back in his seat.
I half laughed and rolled my eyes, deciding it was better to put this conversation, I guess you could call it, at rest as I pulled up to Andrew's house.
Both of the guys unbuckled as they said their goodbyes before exiting the car.
"I'll see you guys later," I added before driving off, watching in my rearview mirror as Ryan made his way to his car parked in front of Andrew's house, and Andrew walking inside.
The rest of the week wasn't anything out of the ordinary, as you might have guessed.
A day in the life of Brett Daniels, isn't really as interesting as you all think. Really.
"We're going tonight, right?" Andrew asked as we piled into my car as usual. He was referring to the typical beginning of the year party thrown by the Sarcona's.
The Sarcona's weren't completely loaded, but they had enough to think they were better than everybody else.
With one child in each grade in highschool, and 6 in total, the Sarcona's were pretty well known, as most are here.
You see, there are some places in every state that are big enough where you don't even know who your next door neighbor is. But around here, no matter how close, or not, you were, everybody knew everybody.
I nodded, as did Ryan in the passenger's seat beside me.
"Okay, well I have a date, so don't bother waiting for me," he proudly smiles, placing his hands behind the back of his head as he leaned back in his seat.
Ryan and I looked at each other, with emotionless expressions. So typical Andrew. Finding some cute girl to bring to a party, leaving Ryan and I on our own.
Sorry I'm not writing as much as I want, I've been busy this week! Friday I was at warped, which was amazing btw!:D And I had lacrosse this weekend! Hopefully, this week, i'll write more! Comment for a reminder!

    Chapter 2
I examined Taylor, wondering what about her it was that made her seem so familiar to me.
Had we met previously? Was she a friend of Andrew's? Or maybe one of my younger sister's? Even though she didn't look 15 like Kayla, they may be friendly with each other.
"You live near the Franco's, right?" she asked, suddenly turning a light on in my head. So that was how I knew her! She's constantly with Kerrie, one of the Franco's kids.
"Yeah, you're friends with Kerrie, right?" I asked, glancing back over to Ryan, who was still giving me looks, but not saying a word.
She nodded, tapping the pencil in her hand on her binder as she too looked around. She looked as if she wanted to keep our short conversation going, but just didn't know how.
I couldn't even deny it if I tried, calling her pretty was an understatement. She was down-right beautiful, flawless, even. I wouldn't have minded talking to her longer. But as I opened my mouth to continue our conversation, Andrew came into sight from behind her.
"Dude, you'd never guess where I found my keys!" he shouted from about a hundred feet away, waving the single key in front of both Ryan and I.
I gave Taylor an apologetic look, knowing Andrew had a tendency to be, well, obnoxious, to be nice. He isn't that bad, usually, though.
Ryan and I didn't even have the chance to give him an answer, before Andrew spoke up, replying to his own question, the three of us listening quietly.
"Under that staircase, I probably dropped it when me and Farrah were there this morning," he slyly grinned, proud and confidently.
I laughed along with Ryan, before remembering Taylor was probably still there. Well, at least I hoped she was.
I hadn't really seen her in my classes, making me believe she was probably a junior, but that didn't really matter. I had this, I don't know, feeling, about her that she and I were alike, and like I said she was beautiful. But knowing me, my assumptions could easily be wrong.
"Uh, well, I guess I'll see you around," I said to her, as I noticed both Andrew and Ryan walking off, talking. They probably thought I was right next to them, but were too oblivious to even notice I wasn't, and too caught up in their talk to check if I was. How stupid of them. Did they not remember I'm there ride home?
She gave me a small wave, and I turned to catch up with my friends, before I heard my name called out, "Wait, Brett!" I turned around, seeing Taylor walking back towards me.
I raised an eyebrow, wondering why she had called for me. I glanced over my shoulder, to see my friends were basically at my car, before turning back towards Taylor.
I half-grinned at her, both thinking, and possibly hoping that maybe she was going to give me her number. What? I'm a guy, and when i see a cute girl, I'd personally like to talk to her some more. Well, maybe some other guys wouldn't, but I did.
"You dropped these, I think you'd need them," she half laughed, handing me my car keys. Damn, how couldn't I have noticed I dropped those? They're kind of important.
I let out a short laugh, glancing back at my friends to see them eyeing me, their arms crossed as they watched with clear smirks on their faces. Who could blame them?
I'll even admit I complain about them taking forever, especially when it comes to leaving school. And here I was, taking my sweet time, while talking to a girl. Honeslty, this wasn't like me.
And no, it's not because I wasn't into girls. It was just, most didn't appeal to fit my needs, relationship wise. Maybe I'd hook up with a few here and there, but nothing drastic or serious.
It was like a love hit-and-run.
"Thanks, I didn't even notice," I replied, taking the keys from Taylor's hand, and stuffing them into my pocket, this time making sure they were actually there.
"Bye Brett, I'll see you around, maybe," she said, her face partially smirking as she spoke the last word. It was like it was a challenge.
Well, if that was the case, challenge accepted.
Chapter dos is hereeeeee! Wooop! Pretty slow start, they're just meeting right now hahahahaa. Hope you enjoyed though, and comment for me to notify!

    Chapter 1
"Can we leave already?" I grumbled to Ryan, as we waited patiently by my car for our friend, Andrew, to finally show up.
School had just ended, and Andrew was running late, leaving us one of the last to leave. Typical.
"I wonder what girl he found this time," Ryan said, rolling his eyes, as we each fell into the front seats of my car.
I shrugged, checking my mirrors before I stuck my car key into the ignition, starting the engine. We didn't know for sure where Andrew was, but knowing him, he probably was with a girl.
What girl, though? That was a mystery, as crazy as it seems. It's like Andrew has every girl in the entire school's number in his contacts. Each day, me and Ryan somehow find him with some other girl, making out in the hallway.
Honestly, I couldn't even tell you the last time he was probably in a relationship.
Well, actually, I couldn't tell you the last time I was in one myself, but that's a different story.
I thought about leaving without Andrew, it's not like we haven't done it before, as my cell phone buzzed in my pocket.
I rolled my eyes, unbuckling my seatbelt, and searching my pocket for my phone. Once I finally found it, I saw I had an incoming call from Andrew.
"Well, I guess we'll find out." I said to Ryan, showing him the flashing name on my phone, before finally picking up.
"Brett!" he quickly said, before I had the chance to even say hello.
"What, Andrew?" I sighed, leaning back in my seat, letting the back of my head rest against the driver's side window.
"I need a favor," he started, and I sat up straighter.
"What do you need?" I asked, picking at the loose strings on the steering wheel, bored.
"I can't remember where I left my house keys." he said, frantic.
My face fell flat, was he serious? That was the reason we've been waiting for the past ten minutes for him? His keys are missing? Can't he just see if anybody was home to open the door?
Well, I guess not. That's Andrew for you.
"I'll come in and check my locker, maybe you tossed them in there with the books you never use," I sighed, nodding at Ryan to follow as I turned off my car.
I hung up with Andrew, and began my way out of the car.
"What exactly does he need?" Ryan asked, completely confused as we both got out of the car, making our way back to our high school.
It was weird, thinking that after this year, we'd be attending college. I couldn't get my mind to wrap around the fact that my regular school career was going to be over in June. It's pretty wild.
I looked over to Ryan, as we finally made our way to the doors. "Andrew's just stupid, and can't find his ke-" I was stopped as I felt myself slam into another person.
"Ow," I heard the higher pitcher voice mumble, as I rubbed my forehead.
I pulled myself up from the ground, feeling like a complete idiot for not paying attention, "My bad," I mumbled, my eyes squinting with some pain.
I watched the familiar looking brunette pick herself back up, rubbing her head slightly before her face softened up, "It's fine, I wasn't paying attention, either." she shrugged, letting out a nervous laugh.
I looked over at Ryan, who nodded approvingly. I shot him a look, completely confused on what exactly he was trying to get across, before turning back to the girl I'd knocked over.
"I'm Brett, by the way." I half smiled, holding out my hand as I introduced myself.
She eyed my hand momentarily, before looking back up at me. The corners of her lips curved into a small smile, just big enough to prominently show a pair of dimples.
"Taylor," she said back, shaking my hand slightly, before pulling away.
So that's chapter one! I hope you guys like it:)
Leave some feedback on what you think with Brett's pov, or if you'd like it to be mostly taylor's instead.

    Beautiful Disaster
    Prologue
Have you ever made assumptions about somebody, before you even meet them?
What am I saying, most people do. It's apart of how humans are, isn't that right? In a way, we're all the same somehow. We get jealous, confused, angry, and everything in between. Especially teenagers.
    Taylor was no exception.
When I first saw her, I thought of her as a typical teenagered girl, with best friends she trusted her life with, stress between school and sports, who enjoys life.
Her big brown eyes showed nothing but happiness, or so I thought. She always seemed to have a smile on her face as well, her near perfect teeth shining with any form of light that hits her. Sometimes I swore she could blind somebody with them.
She was so outgoing, and smart, friendly, and athletic. Unlike some girls, she didn't hide behind her light brown hair in the sight of a boy. She was one of those people who seemed to become friends with anybody they met.
But that was before I actually got to know her. That was before we were at where we are now.
Most of the time, the assumptions you make about people, aren't true. Sometimes they may be, and other times, they could partially be.
Once you get to know somebody, you find out about them. What their thoughts are, and how they handle things. It's funny, the way things work out, am I right?
I know one thing for sure, Taylor is something. There's so many things that make up Taylor Shay, like almost every person on this planet.
But what makes her up, is what makes Taylor, well, Taylor. Obviously.
You wouldn't think that, when you first see her, her confident, outgoing personality, is really a facade.
Behind the Taylor Shay you see walking down the hallways with her head held high, and her friends at her side, is a teenager. One with multiple struggles, most of which she has no idea how to handle.
The perfect life she may seem to live, isn't really as perfect as you'd think.
Behind the Taylor you see, having the time of her life at a party, or scoring the winning goal in the championship soccer game, is a beautiful disaster.
ooookay. So that was a short, and pretty poop prologue. I just wanted a little something. Yes, this is taking the place of broken beauty, because I choose it to be. I'm not too sure yet if I'm going to do it mainly in Brett's POV, which, as you may have guessed, is what the prologue was, or Taylor's POV. Comment what you think, and leave me some feedback. I hope you enjoy it, and just let me know if you want to be notified for chapter one!:)

    Secret Love
    Chapter 37
    Jason's POV:
The next few weeks were anything but interesting.
Nothing really was out of the ordinary.
However, tomorrow was September 1st, meaning school was going to be starting in the next week or too.
I guess it was exciting, know my senior year was coming up.
Alex was constantly reminding me about all the freedoms you had and how care-free it was.
But what kind of stinks is mine would be anything but that.
Instead of taking off free periods to stop home for lunch, I'd have to make sure my daughter was properly put to sleep.
    Well, not yet, but soon.
In fact, I didn't even know what Darcy was doing with school!
Sure, she had already met a lot of her classmates, but what about the rest of the school, judging the new girl?
Hopefully they'd at least give her a break.
"But mom, I don't want to." Darcy complained to her mother as I sat there, quietly.
Tyler and Brandon had gone out on a double date tonight, so it was just Darcy and I (and her parents, of course).
I'd been listening quietly to their conversation back and forth for a while, and let's just say it wasn't that calm.
Darcy was complaining, how school would suck this year, while her mother retaliated, reminding her how she'd gone through the same thing.
"Just think, honey, you'll have Jason with you! He's bound to be in most of your classes!" her mom suggested, smiling at me.
"And if he isn't?" Darcy groaned as she fought back.
"Well, he isn't your only friend, isn't he?" she laughed, stating an obvious fact.
Who cares if Darcy would have a watermelon? That didn't mean she couldn't make friends as easily as she does now!
Darcy shot a look as me, as if she wanted me to add my input.
"She's right, babe." I shrugged, taking a sip of the iced tea in front of me.
Darcy rolled her eyes, and leaned against the counter, crossing her arms.
"I'm not going." she boycotted to her mother.
Darcy's mom looked over to me, with an expression pleading for help.
I sighed, and stood up, walking over towards Darcy.
"Think of it, Darc, not even a year you have to deal with, then that'll be it. Besides, I don't think any guy would be mean to a girl with a pretty face like yours." I grinned, switching on the charm.
That was something that seemed to always work with her, anyway.
Darcy smiled, turning her face to the side as they flushed a shade of scarlett.
I looked over at Darcy's mom, who gave me a quick thumbs up before Darcy looked at her.
    "Fine, I'll go." she mumbled.
Darcy's mom clapped her hands together, and smiled, "That's awesome!"
I nodded, as Darcy stood beside me, emotionless.
Oh come on, it can't be that bad.
"Now, mom, if you'll excuse us, we have things to do." Darcy said, pulling me out of the room and upstairs to hers.
"What exactly do we have to do, again?" I asked, pretending as if I'd knew at some point, even though I didn't.
Darcy rolled her eyes, and sat on her bed.
"Nothing, actually. I just didn't want to talk anymore about school." she grimiced, and I smirked.
"Then what do you want to do?" I asked, leaning my head against the wall behind us.
Darcy thought for a minute, before her eyes lit up, and she grabbed her computer.
"Ohmygosh. I saw this amazing website to order baby stuff the other day, and you have to se-" she stopped, staring at her computer.
I raised an eyebrow, concerned, "What's up?"
I looked over Darcy's shoulder, and she quickly shut the computer entirely, showing me a smile.
"It's nothing," she said, laughing nervously.
I smirked, and shook my head, "you say that like I don't know you. What happened?" I asked again, patiently.
Darcy made a face as she shrugged, "nothing, really."
I tilted my head to the side, before reaching for her computer.
She was lying because she didn't want me to know something. That obviously meant it wasn't good.
Reacting quickly, she pulled the computer towards her, hugging it close to her body.
"Darcy, come on, I'm serious." I said, narrowing my eyes at her.
Darcy held her computer tightly, "So am I, it's nothing, Jason."
I rolled my eyes, I wasn't that dumb to see through her lie.
I tried pulling the computer from her grip, but she held on tightly, not letting go for her life.
"Ow, ow, ow. Jason, stop." Darcy demanded, and I loosened my grip.
My eyes widened, and I slide myself back slightly.
"Are you okay? Darcy, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, I ju-"
Darcy grinned, pecking my lips so I'd stop babbling on and on.
    "Gotcha." she smirked.
I narrowed my eyes at her, and wrapped my arms around her, before tickling her sides.
Within seconds, she burst into a giggle fit, kicking her feet and throwing her hands around to stop me.
I grinned, laughing also, and grabbed the computer lying beside her before stopping.
"Gotcha." I said, mimicking her from moments ago.

    Secret Love
    Chapter 35 Darcy's POV:
I let out a deep breath, as I listened to the soft sound of my alarm clock. I threw my pillow off from over my head, and pressed snooze. Immediately after getting out of bed, I walked over to my mirror, only to see the what seemed like permanent stains of mascara coloring my cheeks. I sighed, and walked into the bathroom, washing my face for what seemed like an hour. After getting ready for the day ahead of me, I plopped back onto bed. What was really the point of me even going out? There wasn't anything for me to do. Sure, I had friends here, but I just wasn't in a happy enough mood for anything. I looked down at the still half full suitcase, even after a week it wasn't emptied. Maybe I should do that sometime soon, before my mom notices and gets angry with me. I glanced at my cell phone, after feeling like I hadn't picked it up in months. In reality, I hadn't actually touched it in a week. Scrolling through all the missed calls and texts I had, I couldn't help but get more upset. Instead of thinking to speak with Jason, I was selfish again, not even bothering to answer him. I know I'm getting all worked up over something that isn't that terrible, but I couldn't help it. As I lay in my bed, my stomach began grumbling loudly. I thought of ignoring it, but I had to start remembering that I'm not just looking out for myself. Before walking out of my bedroom, I looked into the full body mirror, noticing the slightest bulge starting to form. I let out another sigh, thinking about how next week was my first appointment, and I'd be showing up to it on my own. Perhaps Cara or one of my brothers would want to come, though. I have to remember to ask sometime soon. "Hey, Darc? Jack made pancakes if you want some." Cara grinned, as she opened up my bedroom door. She looked at me sympathatically, so I plastered on a smile and nodded, following her downstairs. Mom and Randy were still on their honeymoon until next week, so Jack was pretty much in charge of us for now. I guess it wasn't too bad. He didn't really bother pushing me to answer questions about the stupid fight, which helped. "Hey Darc." Jack nodded, as he washed the last plate, "I left you some pancakes on the table." I looked over, seeing the most perfect stack of pancakes, complete with powdered sugar and syrup. I half-smiled, and thanked Jack, before both him and Cara left the room. I plopped into my seat, wasting no time digging in. "Whoa, there's more and you didn't ca-" I looked up and Jason's voice instantly stopped. He stood there, staring at me stuffing my face. I quietly finished chewing, swallowing the huge amount of food before talking. "Hi." I managed to croak out. I felt like it had been years since I'd spoken. Jason stuffed his hands in his pockets, still gazing intensely at me. "Hey, Darc." He took a seat, of all the open ones, beside me. After a few seconds of silence, I went back to eating. What? I was starving! "I told my mom." he finally blurted out, staring at the painting on the wall ahead of us. I nearly spit out my orange juice, in shock. Had Jason actually taken responsibility? Maybe I really was wrong. "The night we got into that fight, I told her. She wasn't too angry, more disappointed." he added, before finally facing me. I hadn't thought of the words to speak. What could I say? I'm sorry? Shouldn't he be apologizing too? Maybe I should, I mean, I was mean about that. I mean, look at him, he's practically confessing to what he did wrong, right? He has to have learned his lesson by now. Doesn't that make him fit to be with me and our child? Jason stared at me, confused, as a huge grin spread across my face. Our child. I didn't have the chance to say anything, I didn't need to. I grabbed the sides of his hair, and kissed him the hardest I ever could. At first, I knew Jason was in shock, because I felt his body tense up. But not even a moment sooner, it softened, and he followed me. "I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you, Darc." he mumbled, resting his lips on my forehead. "I'm sorry I was such a b**ch to you," I said, laughing as I spoke. Jason smiled also, biting his lower lip before shrugging. "I kind of deserved it." "Come on, Darcy. Quit being such a two year old." Jason said, as he struggled to get me out of the car. I shook my head, holding onto my seatbelt for dear life. Without another word, Jason finally set me free of my belt, and lifted me up, carefully placing me on the ground. "Gotcha." he grinned, as he pulled me inside the white building. As we stepped in, the smell of bandaids and french fries filled my nose. My doctor's office was in the back part of the hospital, which was right next to the cafeteria. "Can't we go next month, or year for that matter?" I complained, as we reached the front desk. Jason leaned down, "by then, the baby will be more mature than you are." he whispered, chuckling. I widened my eyes, and slapped his chest, playfully as our turn came up. Jason shrugged, and squeezed at my hand as the young receptionist smiled at us. "Name?" she asked, staring straight at me. I kept my mouth shut, hoping this would get me out of going to the doctor's. Ever since I was a little kid, I was always not a fan of them. The way they told you "this wouldn't hurt a bit," before giving you a shot. What a lie. "Darcy Aymes." Jason grinned, pulling me closer to his side. The receptionist nodded, and pointed over to the waiting area, saying Dr. Evans will be there soon. "You are such an a**hole, I hate you." I grumbled, joking out of anger. Jason nodded, taking a seat beside me. "Yeah, yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night." he winked, leaning back in his seat. Hey guys! This is for anyone who liked this story, and still reads mine. Personally, this was my favorite, I just never had the time to finish:P Hope you guys enjoyed! Leave some feedback<3
