I miss the sweet spring rain
and feeling of fresh green grass under my toes. I want that warm air and vitamin D
from the sun. I crave the pretty blue skies and fluffy white clouds that drift nonchalantly
in sync with the cool breezes of spring. I need a dose of that vernal drug to
save me from these winter blues.

The only reason why I don’t tell someone I like them
is because I am afraid I’d lose them.
I’d lose what we had, I’d lose the connection we had
and I will lose a friend.

I hate being told what to do.
It makes me feel like I am not in control of my life.
I want to be able to do whatever I want
without being corrected every second of my life.
If I want to do something, I will do it.
It makes me so mad when people tell me
do this, do that.
I know I have to, I will do it later.
It really ticks me off.

The truth is,
we don’t get to choose who we fall for.
