The Boys Next Door
Chapter 6
Haydens' P.O.V
I leaned in and closed my eyes. This was it. The moment I was finally getting my first kiss. I never really cared what people thought of me before I moved here I felt like a whole new person. Slowly and softly, Randy's full plump lips where on mine. It felt like static electricity was drawing us together. After a few minutes, that felt like hours, had gone by we pulled away. I was smiling uncontrollably now. How could I have managed to get my first kiss from a boy this nice, sweet, amazing, and good looking?
"Goodnight, Hayden" He said crawling off my roof, while smiling. I just smiled back, because quite frankly, I couldn't get any words out. I waddled back into the window and layed in my bed and had a really good dream. I woke up the next morning and got ready for work, Today I had gone with my plain eletric green bikini, distressed light was shorts, and a brown yarn shirt that let you see my green bikini. I walked out the door and onto the boat dock.
"Hey guys!" I said walking torwards them.
"Hey Hayden!" They all said.
I giggled and gave them each a hug. I lingered on Randy's a bit.
"Well, someones' in a good mood!" Chuckled Brett.
I just smiled at him and nodded, because honestly, I was in the best mood in the world.
I went to work the gas station, because I got put there again today, while Randy and Thomas worked the Gift Shop and Brett had the repair station. I just lazily layed on the dock waiting for some old grown men to come get gas. I'd found out if you play weak little girl, they tip extra.
"Oh gosh sir, I bet you're really good at pumping the gas!" I smiled.
The man chuckled.
"Here's your tip." He smiled and drove away.
I laughed. The man had given me twenty bucks. The next boat that pulled up was the biggest, fanciest, shmanciest yatch I had ever seen.
"Randyyy! Guess who needs gassss!" I heard a high pitch voice come from the microphone on the boat. Crap.
Alexa walked out of the boat and I smirked.
"Sorry sugar, Randy doesn't have gas today." I giggled.
Alexa rolled her eyes.
Then she glared at me and began to speak.
"Listen, If you don't keep your pale, ugly, pathetic, scrawney, northern Alabama hands away from MY boys, well, it won't be good." Alexa said, fuming.
I just laughed and filled her up with gas and waited for her to drive away.
Then I began to panic. I can't help that I'm friends with the boys! What am I going to do?
I looked over and saw Brett walking up the dock.
"Hey Hayden!" He smiled.
"Hey Boo." I said, kind of zoned out. Boo was my nickname for him by the way.
"What's the matter Hays?" He asked sounding genuinlly concerned. I pointed at the big boat in the distance.
"Alexa?" He asked.
I started to tear up a bit.
"She told me I couln't hang out with y'all anymore or she'd do something to me! I don't know what to do!" I said.
"Well, isn't it obvious." Brett said.
I looked at him confunsed. Then he started to mimic me.
"Well, like, Totes ignore her!" I giggled.
"I do not talk like that!"
Brett's P.O.V
I was just chilling in the repair shop, when I saw a big fancy yatch drive by the gas. I had been keeping my eye on Hayden, because when you have a drop dead gorgeous girl a few meters away from you, who wouldn't? But anyway, I saw the yatch and I immideatly knew who it was. I heard Alexa come over the intercom:
"Randyyyy! Guess who needs gasss!" I chuckled. Alexa was in for a suprise.
I watched Alexa walk onto the deck and talk to Hayden, glaring at her. Hayden's face still in a smirk. Alexa got back on her boat and left, and then it happened.
I saw Haydens face drop, she had been faking the smirk.
My mom was sitting in the repair shop with me, so I yelled at her.
"Ma, I'm taking my break."
She hardly looked up from her magazine and told me okay.
I walked down to the dock and asked Hayden what was wrong.
She pointed to the big boat confirming what I already knew.
She told me the whole story and I began to comfort her, gradually pulling her back to earth. To top it off I even mimicked her.
"I do not talk like that!" She shrieked.
I chuckled.
"I know. It's just my generic girl voice." I said smirking.
She laughed and returned to the really good mood she was in this morning.
That made me happy.
"Hey, don't listen to Alexa. If she bothers you again, just get me, Randy, or Thomas. Okay?"
I asked her raising my eyebrow.
"Kay." She said smiling.
"I gotta get back to work." I said.
"Alright! Bye!" Said getting up and giving me a hug.
I returned to my post at the repair workshop and thought:
She is absolutely amazing.
Okay! That's another one! Tell me what you think! Please comment and fave and stuff, because I'm thinking of just stopping this story. Comments and faves are the only thing that keeps me writing.
