Yesterday was the last day I saw him before school starts again in September. He was the referee in my brother's roller hockey game. I was watching from the sidelines, right on the other side of the boards, standing with my friend and her grandparents. Every time he had to skate by, he always did something really cute, like trying to scare me and making funny faces. One time when he made a face at me, my friend's grandma said, "Looks like somebody likes you." In my head, I kept thinking to myself, 'Oh, you don't know the half of it.' <3
