*Introduction*
I've successfully made it through my freshman year. Well, I wouldn't say successfully. The names "loser" and "dork" seemed to stick so I guess a better thing to say would be I made it out alive. I'm not a perfect girl. Then again, nobody is. I have long black hair down my back that is ringlets of curls. When I straighten it, I think it looks nice, but by the time I get to school, it's back to normal. I'm not the kind of girl that guys want to go out with. My friends think I could if I just stopped looking down on myself. They all tell me that I'm an amazing singer. And I agree that I'm not bad. (If I do say so myself.)
My friends Claire, Bree, and Charlotte get me through everything. Claire has been my best friend since we met in 3rd grade. I'm probably one of the shortest in our school, and Claire's one of the tallest. She's much more athletic than I am. She plays soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. To everyone besides Bree, Charlotte, and I, Claire is really shy. Alot of girls come across that way. I know I do.
Bree is the most optomistic of the four of us. She doesn't have much about her life that she wants to change. Her hair is almost as long as mine except it's pin straight naturally and much much lighter brown. Her eyes are never the same color. We always say they change with her mood but she thinks it's a silly thought. She the best swimmer I've ever seen. She has so much energy and talks a mile a minute. Sometimes that gets her into trouble.
Charlotte is such a bookworm. She smarter than any one of us. She is the total package of a friend. She's nice, funny, and always there for us when we need her. I would consider her our support system. She's always the one we go to for advice or even just help on home work.
The four of us share that same quirky personality. I guess that's what brings us together.
Then there's Connor. He's Bree's cousin. He is amazing! He is deffinatly my best guy-friend. He's been like a brother to me. Connor is nothing like us. I sometimes tease him calling him "Mr. Popular." Cheesy, I know, but accurate. I really don't know how we became friends because we are so different. We just did. Bree, Charlotte, and Claire always make fun of me and tell me how we are going to get married someday but I really don't see it. That'd be so weird!
This is going to be a whole new year for me. I'm not a freshman anymore. I'm a sophmore now. It's time for things to change. People are going to see me as more than just a loser. No more peace love loser. Time to say hello to a star!
