Long but worth the read
You know those
Annoying sibling fights?
This might sound weird, but treasure them.
Last week, me and my little sister were out having lunch at McDonalds. She exclaimed that she had to go to the bathroom. I finished eating my lunch and realized she still wasn't back. I went into the bathroom, but she was no-where to be found. I panicked and looked all around for her, then I noticed there was a backdoor in the bathroom, I went out it, crying. There by the door, was my little sisters scarf and a small toy she got in her happy meal that day. I searched all the streets and called my mum to tell her what happened. My mum called the police to perform a search and investigation. I was so scared.
Yesterday, we got the news that a pocket knife was found in a mans house with a small amount of her blood on it. I am now more scared than ever and I just want my baby sister back. She was only 10 years young, she hasn't even lived her life to the fullest yet.
And one of the worst parts is, I feel like its my fault, because I was there at the time. I could have saved her.
I'm not asking this to be a top quote, I'm just asking for people to read this, then turn to their brother or sister and say "I love you". Appreciate them.
Come home Jessie.
I love you.
