Thats called emotional blackmailing and its terrible.

1: if you really do still love him and want to be with him then tell him and if he wont believe you say: "why would i want to spend my time with someone i dont love? i love you and if you dont believ that then we shouldnt be together because you dont trust me." that will get him thinking at least.

2: if you dont want to be with him then tell him that he sounds pathetic running away because of a broken heart. tell him that if he werent a coward than hed stay and face the pain like a human being. tell him that it always gets better in the end and that he shouldnt throw his life away over something so stupid. it makes him sound like a loser.

takes some people a week, like my friend. but it took me 2 months. :/ but believe me, its so much better once you're over your ex. SOO much better. :) so just pretend to be happy, ignore him, dont talk to him AT ALL and hide everything that reminddds you of him in a box and hide it in your closet and one day, you'll realize you dont need him anymore :)
