    chapter 14.
"I have to find him," I said as soon as I finished reading. "But you don't know where he is," Morgan protested. "I don't care, I'm finding him," I shot. "I'm coming with you." I shook my head. "Please, stay with Nevaeh," I said, gesturing towards the room where Nevaeh was sleeping. Morgan sighed. "If I text you, text me back ASAP, please, please be careful," Morgan pleaded. "Yes mother," I smiled. She hugged me. "Good luck," she grinned. I grabbed my coat and headed out the door. Morgan was right, I had no idea where to look, but I thought I could start around town. As I was walking past the cafe, there were a group of guys I recognized. I thought for a second and tried to a remember where I had seen them, then I remember they had gotten into a fight with Eddie one time at a club. But maybe they knew where he was. As I approached the group, one of the guys moved over and my heart dropped when I met the familar caramel eyes of the boy standing behind him. Colin. Still, I didn't stop walking towards the group. Colin brushed past the guys and I found myself face to face with him. "Raven..." he whispered. I looked at him, and I'm sure he could see the worry in my eyes. He opened his mouth to speak, but one of the guys cut him off. "Owwweee! Hey hottie, how you doing?" he winked. Colin whipped around. "She's Eddie's girl Drake, back off," he spat. "Eddie? Dead Eddie, you mean?" he smirked. "What?" I gasped. Colin's warm hand met mine and pulled me to a cafe table. "What was Drake talking about?" I asked. "That's why I'm down here, close to your house. I was coming to tell you the news..." he trailed off. My face turned pale. "Eddie and Drew...they're in trouble. The boys and I saw them not too long ago, they were at a bar. Both of them being very drunk told me everything. How Eddie finally got in touch with Drew after his little run away, how he was nervous about marrying you..." he stopped and look up at me, then continued, "then there was a fight. I'm not exactly sure how it started, but next thing you know, about 8 huge guys ganged up on Drew and Eddie. I'm not giving you details, but they're in the ER. Eddie protected Drew from a lot of punches...and...a guy..h-he hit him with a beer bottle. He's in really bad condition. I called you, but you're phone was off. But, I was going to take you to see him." I just stared at Colin. "You're lying!" I shouted as I ran off. I ran and ran until I reached an alley way. Unfortunately, Colin could outrun me by far, and he was next to me within seconds. "Raven, I'm telling the truth, you got to believe me," his words whispered into my ear as we stood in the alley way. "No, it's not true. He's ok-kay, I know he is. H-h-he has to be," I stuttered, trying to convince myself. "Baby don't cry. You're going to be fine." "N-not without him! Don't you understand-d? He's my w-whole entire world! I can't live without him. I w-w-won't live without him," I screamed, letting the tears fall down my cheek. Tan arms wrapped around me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm so sorry. But I'm here. I'm here and I always will be." I pushed him off. "You're wrong and I know it. I will prove you wrong," I spat. I turned around and stalked off. I didn't care that it was late and I was alone. I was going to find him. And I kept whispering to myself it was all lies.
But deep down, I knew all the convincing in the world wouldn't stop the truth.

    Raven,
I'm sorry .... I have to go find Drew. On my own. I don't know how long it will take and I don't know where I'm going. But he's my bestfriend. I know you'd do the same for Morgan. I love you, no matter what. Please stay safe, and don't do anything...harmful. You know what I mean.
    Forever & always,
    Eddie

"So I'll know how she's doing all the time?" Morgan asked the next day to Mrs. Bright, the adoption agent. "Yes, open adoption inculdes pictures and visits," Mrs. Bright explained. Morgan turned to me with tears in her eyes. "It's for the best," I told her. She sighed, but then gave a slight nod.
    It was official.
    ---
    I opened to the door to find the house empty. "Where's Eddie?" Morgan questioned as she followed me in. I shrugged. "Probably out, as usual," I mumbled. "I'm starving," Morgan announced, walking into the kitchen as I was taking off my shoes. "Raven! Come here!" Morgan screamed. I ran over to see Morgan holding a note. I ripped it out of her hands. In Eddie's handwriting, it read;
    Raven,
    I'm sorry ....

I felt all the color form my face drain. "W-w-what?" I stuttered. "Ever since Nevaeh...I knew. He loves you. Who can blame him, right?" she snorted. I couldn't think what to say. I just sat there, holding Morgan's shaking body in my arms. "We're barely 18, Raven. No wonder he left. No guy wants to deal with a baby now. Not even me," she cried. "Adoption is always there," I mentioned. She shook her head. "I love Nevaeh more than anything on this earth. The idea of leaving her with people I don't know is terrifying." "Eddie and I will adopt her!" "While in college? No. It'll ruin your education." I sighed. "Let's just go meet with an adoption agent. We'll see what they suggest." Morgan took a deep breath and nodded. "But Raven, if Drew isn't coming back, Nevaeh is all I have." I looked at her in the eye. "No. I'm here and so is Eddie. 'Til the grave, I promise." Morgan hugged me and then laughed.
"No wonder Drew loves you. You're too nice for your own good."
I laughed; but really, I just wish she'd stop mentioning that.

    chapter 11.
After two days of calling Drew and no response, we notified the police. I sat on my couch with Morgan, holding her as she cried. "It's all going to be okay," I promised her. She couldn't speak through the tears. Eddie was out with some of his friends; he hasn't stayed home much. I knew if he heard Morgan cry, he would break down too. He's so worried about Drew, but he tried to not let me see. I saw right past the plastic smile of his. "I'm sure he's just sick of all us and ignoring our calls," I tried again to comfort her. But even my voice didn't sound convincing. I was still hoping for the best- but there was still that thought in mind. Well, I guess it was in everyone's mind. What if Nevaeh didn't have a father? Morgan didn't have a soulmate? Eddie didn't have his best man? Their world's would come to an end. Morgan's slowing of tears snapped me out of my thoughts. "Raven," she whispered. "Yes?" She lifted her head from my shoulder and I could see the pain in her eyes as she said the words I was dreading to hear,
    "He loved you."

    chapter 10.
Autumn's leaves fell fast and before I knew it, it was winter. My alarm went off at 6 a.m on Monday morning for my class. It was white outside. Childish energy suddenly flooded over me. "Eddie!" I said, shaking him. "Hmmm?" he moaned, turning over. "It's snowing!" I shouted, jumping on top of him. "If you're gonna act like this, then I wish it would snow more often," he winked. I rolled my eyes. "C'mon!" I said, taking his hand and trying to drag him out of bed. "Now? We need to get to our first class," he pointed out. "Screw that. Come play in the snow!" I pleaded. He smiled. "Race you outside!" I ran into the closet and quickly pulled on snow pants over my sweat pants. I didn't bother putting a shirt over my tank top and grabbed my heavy parka. Not looking back at Eddie, I quickly ran outside and tossed myself into the snow. I turned around and Eddie was in the door way. "Aww, is wittle W-Eddie swcared of the snow?" I mocked. "Shut up," he laughed as he jumped into the pile next to me. I laid my head on his chest, and we both looked up at the sky, watching the snow flakes fall. "I think the snow is beautiful...perfectly white. Perfect for a wedding, huh?" I said jokingly. Eddie turned to me. "What if we got married in the winter?" I was shocked. "I thought we were going to wait until summer, after we finish our first year." Eddie's smile faded. "Oh, I thought you'd like it in the winter. Too much of a rush?" he asked. I knew he'd feel insecure if I said I wasn't ready. So I lied. "The snow messes up my hair," I giggled. He rolled his eyes. "So, we shall wait for summer," he smiled.
    --
Eddie and I returned home from our classes around 12 to find Morgan sitting on our porch. "This can't be good," I heard Eddie mumbled. We got out of the car and Morgan looked up. She sprinted towards us. "Do you know where Drew is?" she asked frantically. "No, why?" I asked. "We got in a fight this last night and he just walked out. He won't answer his phone and I have no idea where he is. I'm so worried," she explained, as tears starting to roll down her cheek. "Where's Nevaeh?" I questioned. "At daycare."
"We'll find him, I'm sure," Eddie reassured her. But I could tell Eddie was worried too.
I prayed Drew was okay. But I had a feeling...I tried to get that thought out of my head.

The bass vibrated the whole club. LMFAO's party beats were blasting through the speakers all across the room. I had my arms around Eddie and I was grinding on him. It was a Friday night and I was ready to let loose after a long day of school. I loved spending time with Eddie, and dancing with him. But the question raced through my mind; was I ready to trade this type of dancing for our wedding slow dance? I tried not to second guess it, but I couldn't help it. I loved him more than I could imagine loving anyone, and it would be an honor to be his wife. So why do I feel like this? I drifted off into space. "Raven?" Eddie's voice snapped me out of it. "You alright babe?" I nodded, but my head was thinking "No".

    chapter 7.
Morgan and I bursted through the hospital doors. "Where is she? Where is my baby?" she shouted frantically. Drew was sitting in a chair nearby along with Eddie and they both rushed up to us, Drew hugging Morgan. By then, Morgan was already bawling, and Drew just held her. They looked so in love. How could Drew love someone else? "What happened?" I asked, Morgan clearly not able to ask herself. Eddie opened his mouth to speak but Drew cut him off. "She choked on a piece of pineapple. I tried to do CPR but.." he trailed off. Just then, a nurse walked up to our group. "Your daughter is going to be just fine," she smiled. "Her heart is steady and she is already giggling." Morgan picked her head up from Drew's chest, her tears slowing. "Thank god," Morgan breathed. Drew pulled her closer to him and kissed her on the forehead. "I'm sorry babe," he said. "I'm going to go see her," Morgan said, walking away before Drew had a chance to say anything else. The three of us talked for a bit, until Eddie excused himself to go to the bathroom. When Eddie left, Drew and I decided to sit down in the chairs along the wall. "Looks like it's just us two for now," he smiled, putting his arm around me jokingly. I giggled, but I couldn't help but notice he didn't move his arm, so I gently shrugged it off. "Morgan's looking good for just having a baby," I commented, changing the subject. "Yeah. You look good too," he winked. I forced a little bit of a laugh. I awkwardly looked at the ground. I couldn't be more relieved when I heard Eddie's footsteps. I faked a yawn. "You tired babe?" Eddie asked. I nodded. "Alright, Drew we're gonna head off now. Give Morgan our best," Eddie announced, bro-hugging Drew. I smiled slightly and stood behind Eddie, holding his hand tight. Drew smiled and waved as we walked out.
I looked up at the sky and prayed.
Please God, don't let Drew be in love with me.

    chapter 4.
I couldn't sleep that night knowing my best friend was mad; and the fact that it was pouring out. I stared up at the ceiling as Eddie snored next to me, the storm not bothering him at all . Then I heard it. Thump. Thump. Thump. It sounded like someone trying to break in kitchen. I carefully got out of bed, careful not to wake up Eddie. I slowly grabbed a broom, hoping to use it as a weapon if needed. I stood in the kitchen, waiting for the sound. Thump. Thump. Thump. My heart was racing. If this really was a burglar or a killer, I'd die happy knowing I died trying to protect Eddie. This was the first time I realized that I would truly die for him. The feeling of dependence scared me a little. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the sound again. I realized it was rocks being thrown at the window near the door. I opened the shade and saw a person standing outside. I froze. I dropped the room and opened the door and flew outside to the familiar face. We stood face to face, just staring, taking in the moment.
    "Raven, you can't marry Eddie."

    chapter 2.
"SHE SAID YES!" Morgan screamed as she walked into my house later that day. Drew came in after, holding their daughter, Nevaeh, in his arms. I hopped off the couch and ran over to Morgan, showing her the ring. "Oh my gosh! It's huge! Beautiful! Wow!" Morgan said, shocked. I smiled and turned to Drew and Nevaeh. "Hey girly," I cooed as I tickled her stomach. She giggled and held my finger in her tiny hands. "She has your eyes," I commented, staring into her ice blue eyes. "I know. She's perfect," Drew smiled. Morgan walked to Drew's side and put his arm around her waist. They looked so happy; the perfect family. Maybe that would be Eddie and I someday. I was too caught up in my thoughts to notice Eddie next me. "Congrats, man," Drew said, hugging Eddie as Morgan held Nevaeh. "Okay, well, Eddie it's time for me to steal your bride," Morgan winked. "What's this?" Eddie asked. "Well, you and Drew are going to baby sit the baby, while Raven and I do a girl's night out," Morgan declared, handing the baby to Eddie. "You're not going to ask first?" Eddie asked, dumbfounded. Morgan turned to me and asked, "My dear Raven, would you please accompany me on this wonderful evening?" I laughed, "Of course." "There, I asked. Now Raven, you need to change," Morgan commented, eyeing my sweat pants. Morgan dragged me into my room and threw can outfit of slutty clothes at me. "Put these on before they never get worn again." "Never worn again? What are you talking about?" "Oh you know how married couples get. Boring. Once you and Eddie get married, poof goes fun." "Ha, that won't be me. Eddie and I will be a fun married couple." "That's what they all say."
Nerves raced down my spine. Would I really become a whole knew person if I marry Eddie?

    "Will you marry me?"
My whole body turned into a statue. I looked Eddie straight in his golden brown eyes. I could tell he said it with love, his normal hard-to-figure-out expression turned into a soft smile. I glanced around, taking in the moment. The colorful autumn leaves rustled behind us, as the pouring rain turned into a gentle drizzle. I turned back to Eddie. "Of course I will," I said breathlessly. He got off of his knee and kissed me gently. We stood there in the middle of the abandoned road, his lips on mine, my hand in his. When we pulled away, he carefully slid the diamond ring onto my finger. "It's beautiful," I breathed. The diamond shined furiously, even though the sun was no where to be found. "You're worth it. You're worth the world, Raven," Eddie whispered into my ear. Mrs. Eddie Williams.
I could get used to that.

    RAVEN'S BACKK BITCHESSSSS.
    [maybe]
Hey guysss:) so, obviously, I am thinking about going back to Raven's story. I loved my characters and it's just a big part of my writing experience. BUT - I don't know how I should write. Do you think I should write from Nevaeh's point of view? (In case you forgot, she's Morgan's daughter). Or should I continue from Raven's? I have a few problems though. I was thinking, now that Raven could possibly be married to Eddie I would have trouble writing conflicts when she's a married woman. But I don't want her to say no either, because I mean c'mon, her and Eddie? ADORABLE! So anyways, comment about:
    Point of view
    plots
or should I keep with my Taylor Swift series.
    blahblahblah sorry boringgg<333

    better than revenge
    chapter 20.
    Scarlet's POV:
I felt as though my prayers were answered when I opened my door to see Tabby and Darrell. Tears were still rolling down my cheek. I jumped into Darrell's arms but I felt his hesitation as he hugged me back. "Oh my god I can't believe Aaron did this to me!" I sobbed. "That's what were here to talk to you about. Aaron didn't do anything. Ashley did," Tabby said. "I'm confused," I stated. Tabby and Darrell walked in, Darrell remaining quiet. "Can we sit down?" Tabby asked. I nodded and they both took a seat at the kitchen table. "Scarlet, I should of told you. I really should of. Ashley wanted revenge on Aaron for cheating on her. She wanted him to feel the pain she felt. Aaron already had been with most of the pretty girls in our grade, until we found you. We thought you'd be a perfect fit. Ashley got you two to go out and then break up, so now Aaron is heart broken. But Aaron did truly only like you for your body, but it wasn't a dare to go out with you," Tabby explained. My jaw dropped. I stood there stunned. "I'm so sorry," she mumbled. I shook my head. "Get out," I murmured. "What?" Darrell asked. "Both of you. Out!" I shouted. Tabby looked shocked, but then she took Darrell's hand and walked out without another word. I'd deal with what I just did later. Right now I needed to focus on Ashley.
    And my sweet, sweet revenge.
