i burned my ear on my straightener, poked my eye with mascara.
missed the bus while getting ready. got grounded for missing the
bus, got a stain on my shirt. got a detention for being tardy, and
another for forgetting my homework at home since i was chasing
the bus. got a D on my essay, then remembered i had a math test
just when the teacher handed it to me. tripped in gym class and
then was mocked for the entire class. forgot my money for lunch
at home, and was excluded by my friends who didn't seem to care
about my day. found out i didn't make swim team. then talked to him
...not such a bad day.

Today, I stopped by his locker. He was in class , I was on my way to the bathroom. I pulled the written note out of my jean pocket and slipped the Post-It through the cracks and walked away hoping that this just might help him know what goes through a girl's head.
