A conversation with our male science teacher. Girl: Wow, I had the right answer before, but then I changed it... Teacher: You first instinct is usually right. Girl: Yeah! Like in the morning when you're getting dressed and you can't choose between the red dress or the white dress! Teacher: I have that problem all the time! I usually go for the red dress, but then I wake up and say "Put on some pants."
Guy Friend: I love this computer. Friend: Yes, and she loves you too. I mean, you keep turning her on. Guy Friend: I know right? Friend: In fact, you two should really stop mousing around. Me: Wow, that was really cheesy. Later... Me: *Bangs my Guy Friend's keyboard* Guy Friend: Hey! Stop it! You know, I'm not afraid to punch you! Me: C'mon, we all know your bark is worse than your gigabyte.

Today my friends and I were having a little competition We were squeezing each other's hands to see who would give up first. Immature, yes, but very fun. We got almost everyone in the class involved including people I hate. So I tried doing it with a guy that I hate. We were kind of holding hands so he goes and says Woah, that feels nice! It freaked the living crap out of me.
“I think it would be easier to fight in a dress,” says Marlene, tapping her chin. “It would give your legs freer movement. And who really cares if you flash people your underwear, as long as you’re kicking the crap out of them?” Lynn goes silent, like she recognizes that as a spark of brilliance but can’t bring herself to admit it. “What’s this about flashing underwear?” says Uriah, sidestepping a bunk. “Whatever it is, I’m in.” ~Insurgent Veronica Roth
"Our Biggest Fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson
