IT'S SO DIFFICULT;
Every time I see him. So here's the deal.. I met this guy over the summer during band camp. He's a grade ahead of me and when I met him, my immediate first thought was 'he's perfect'. I didn't know him very well at first, but we became friends soon afterwards. I found out he had a girlfriend so I was kind of upset. Then he kept telling me how he didn't really like her anymore and he was thinking of breaking up with her. He asked me what he should do and I was so tempted to say 'break up with her', but I just told him to do what felt right. So about a week later he broke up with her. After that he started flirting with me and leading me on. I was so excited & I was positive that he was going to ask me out. About a month later he started hanging out with this senior who's also in band. Then they started dating. She's super nice so I can see why he likes her.. but everyone gives them crap about their relationship. They tell them that it's weird how a senior girl is dating a guy who's 2 years younger than her. He came to me about it and I helped him through it and now we're best friends. I consider him to be one of my 3 best friends and I'm one of his 4 best friends. We text each other practically every day and we talk all the time. But the problem is; I still have a huge crush on him. I lied after he found that out, and said I'm almost completely over him. But I think about him all the time, and he's perfect for me. We like all the same things and we share everything with each other. He tells me he loves me as a best friend and he tells me all the time how beautiful I am, and that I should never change. He's everything I could ever ask for in a guy and I'm convinced that I met him for a reason. But I just have to act like I don't feel this way which is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I don't want him & his girlfriend to break up because they're so cute together, and I just want him to be happy. But I think about this everyday and I can't get him out of my mind.. If you read this whole thing; I seriously love you so much. Thank you <3
